FOR MY SONS FROM FREE PALESTINE OF ELOHA GEBOR. ALMIGHTY GOD IN THE EARTH IN THE HEAVENS. WIHT MY LOVE AND JUSTICE. SONS OF GREAT ISMAEL, SON OF ALMIGHTY GOD.
؟ You are my spirit, you are my being, you are mi unity.
؟ Join then thy hands with mine and in a prayer of silence and you will feel the presence of thy father in the love with Beni Elohim (children of God).
؟ Without me there is no life, without me there is no way, without me, there is no truth, because I am the life, I am the way and the truth, because the Beni Elohim carry my signs in all his body, soul and spirit, and as the universe, thou are full of my signs, so I say unto you, I am the great sign.
؟ I have come so that this time thy eyes not only see the flesh but the flesh that is light and to insure that Elohim has the word of God and that he fulfils it.
؟ Thou art the door of the world. I say to you that I am the door to the heavens and I will open it to my children because we are one and you will come unto me.
؟ I have come so that my holy blood be thy sacred grail, in thy bodies, so that the mysteries on earth that are not mysteries in the heavens be revealed to thy eyes and understanding.
؟ Because thou have strong fingers and powerful steady hands, thou are the muscles and tendons of my powerful arm, because thou are the retina of my eyes, when they look for you full of love, justice and mercy.
؟ Because I am the only one that can transform thy heart of flesh to heart of light, these are the good news I bring you.
؟ I am the father of the sons and the son among the sons. I am the all powerful Elohim who comes to plant new seeds of light.
؟ The good news are that I am with you, the great face of all faces.
؟ Elohim Hadonai Gebor

Dear Fellow Palestinians and Akkawi:
I am trying to reconstruct my family history. My grandfather, Philip Hassoun, was mayor of the city of Acre- or so I was told when I was little, but I cannot seem to find any evidence- can anyone verify this and the dates for me? Can you help? Also, our house in Acre that was taken by the Israelis is supposedly a Jewish School now- how can I verify that fact? Also, is there any archive of Ottoman land deeds for Acre and Haifa? My father was the Secretary of the City of Haifa and the District Food Contoller of the Gallilee, and part owner of Abu Cristo's restaurant. What has become of his restaurant now in Acre? My father was exiled in 1952 and my grandparents in 1949. Unfortunately, they are dead now and I have waited too long to start writing the family history- but maybe others can help.
Shukran,
Rosina Hassoun, Ph.D.

Salaam Aleikum!
I have visited Acre (Akka), but unfortunately it was as a baha'i (I was a member of that cult.)
While there, we were very resticted as to what we could visit. They wanted us only to visit the baha'i help properties. We were never allowed to interact with Palestinians.
I have grown to HATE baha'i, and want to learn more about the THEFT of Arab land by baha'is to build their gardens in and around Akka and Haifa.
I do know that Shoghi Rabbanni was a strong ZIONIST, and fully supported zionist occupation of Palestine.

Peace to all of you.
I am so proud of this site and many others dedicated to keeping the memory of our Palestinian cities and villages alive in our hearts and minds. I am a second generation Palestinian born as a refugee in Lebanon. My great uncle was one of the last group that defended the old city in Acre. When the city fell, he went into hiding for 10 days, then he was captured , tortured and jailed for number of years, then was eventually released . We lost contact with him as my grandfather fled Acre with the rest of the family by land and ended up in Tripoli, Lebanon. We heard that my great uncle got married and had kidds but we don't know anything more about him. My Grandmother told us the accounts of that sad day and made sure that we remembered that my great Grandfather was the Imam of AL Jazzar Masjid/Mosque and my father still remember the streets of the old city and its famous wall.
Long Live Palestine

salam to all palestinians,
i would first like to thank all those who put in a great effort to create this website, which is beautiful beyond words, and very informative. I am a palestinian girl who proudly walked through the very streets of Akkah. And i would like every palestinian out there, specifically the Akkawi's to know that your presence there is still alive, and felt within the heart. Even though i was surrounded by jews, my heart saw, felt, and heard the true arab palestinian occupants of Akkah, who's spirits continue to live there. Those who ever get the chance to go(AND INSHALLAH ALL OF YOU DO), will hear those whispers, and upon hearing it will have hope and faith that oneday with the will of Allah we can return to Akkah and all other occupied cities inshAllah... Our Akkah ancestors continue to whisper to keep these hopes alive, and they will not rest until we someday again fill the streets with our presence, as the way we should have all these years. Keep the dream alive!
Sincerely, Amaly Mohammad Kadur

The right of return of victorious Palestinian refugees to their homes in their historic land of Palestine is the only guarantee for peace in the Middle East. The right of return is an issue of rights that is not dependent on the generosity of the Zionist state so-called Israel. The right of return is the right afforded to Palestinian refugees as members of the international community
Insha'a Alah the Occupation of PALESTINE will END,and will be free of the scavengers Zionist

I wish to express my heartfelt solidarity with the Palestinians and the catastrophe that has befallen them. I work and pray daily on your behalf, for one Palestine, complete.
Not just me, but righteous people the world over are with you in your epic struggle against the neo-fascist Israelis.
There are ~5 million of them, another 285 million Americans, but there are 6 billion Palestinians. In the end WE WILL PREVAIL!
Viva la intifada! Viva la Palestina Libre!

First, your web site is extremely informative and so well put together.
I appreciate the work that's gone into it, and learned a great deal from
it.
I realize that in the midst of all that is transpiring in your part of
the world an email from someone like myself who is trying to locate
their possible remaining famiy in Acka, my inquiry may seem frivolous.
Please understand that I'm trying to make a connection with someone via
your web site who would be willing to answer questions about how I go
about researching my grandfather's family in Acka. I use that spelling
because that's what he entered on his immigration papers in 1914. His
name: HANNA HAMAM, b. Acka in 1878. His parents were Kahlil and Eva
HAMAM. He was Christian, and married FAREEDI MOUBAYED, probably
sometime around 1908, most likely in Lebanon. Fareedi's parents were
HANNA MOUBAYED and FOHMIA SAIEGH.
Please know that I'm not asking anyone to do research, but rather simply
want to know if anyone there is willing to respond to this email letting
me know that they would be willing to answer some questions about tribe
names in Acka, names of churches, cemeteries, and where/who I might
contact to find out if there is anyone remaining there who may be part
of the HAMAM or MOUBAYED families.
Thank you.

Mashallah, what a wonderful site (tribute) to Akka.
It is not acceptable to just obtain a right of return to only "West Bank" and "Gaza". Until we can return to Akka (and all "1948 lands"), it is not over. We are no less Palestinian then Gaza and West Bank. Yaba, I didn't forget!
