Although left Akka In 1948 at 11 years old, I still remember the city street by street. This aerial photo shows Al-Jureini, Akka's sea port, and Akka's Suure(Wall) where we used peak, through its window, at the beautiful Mediterranean and the fisherman snagging some fish. At the far north our house was at Rashidya, the farthest northen part of the city. Rememerbance brings with it the vision of the Zionist terror unleached against the city in the winter nights of 1948, resulting in our exile.
