My surname is 'Arida, and as far as I know my family's roots go back to Hims, Syria. I am also aware of some Aridas in Nablus and Rafah; although there is probably a relation, I don't know for sure if and how we may be related. I became aware of 'Arab al-'Arida, and wonder if there is a connection between my family and some of the people of this village.
