نحن شعب ارادتنا اقوى وهذه ارض الاجداد التي سلبت منا فالتشهد يا غصن الزيتون على دمائنا اللتي هي دائما فدائا للارض
ونحن دائما قلبا وقالبا في الشتات مع اهلنا في الضفة الغربية ولا بد من يوم نعود لهذه الارض وللاقصى المبارك انشاء الله فان لم نكن نحن فالجيل القادم باذن الله

As a citizen of Kyriat-Gat, which was built near Iraq el Manshie, I was very upset every time I walked on the road, going for example to the Cemetery, and passing very near the place where Iraq el Manshie was. I thought that on this very spot, people lived, worked, prayed and were buried. I thought "where is their mosque, where is their cemetery ?". May be it is an unrealistic dream, but I beleive that it would have been better to have still an Iraq el Manshie as a neigbouring village to Kyriat Gat, with old people who would telle us stories of the past about this region. neither Kyriat Gat instead of Iraq el Manshie, nor Irak el Manshie instead of kyriat Gat but both of them. I am 28 years old, my parents and grand grand....parents has lived in Iraq al Manshiyya.
Iraq al Manshiyya was a palestinian village and will stay a palestinian village forever.

Sooner or later we will return to our land . no right to the Israelies in our land.
God Pless palestine and its people .

I'd like to draw the attention of the webmaster to a possible error of identification. The picture posted at the top of the web page of iraq-al-manshiya is by no means a picture taken in the location nowadays. The industrial zone of Kiryat-Gat has no such facility.

السلام عليكم
أنا أحد ابناء هذه القرية المدمرة, مع انني لم اولد هنلك لكن امي وابي( رحمه الله) ولودو هنلك , أبي العزيز كان كل أمله العودة الى عراق المنشية لكن مشيئة الله لم تسمح له بذلك ، أرجو من الله أن تعود البلد الينا و ان ندفن فيها

نرجو الله ان يعيد هذه البلده لابنائها عما قريب وان يحفظ ذكرى صمودها في ذاكرة ابنائها و احفادهم الى الابد

ان أحد ابناء هذه القرية العظيمة والتي صمدت في وجه الاحتلال الصهيوني ولم يستطع العدو الصهيوني احتلالها نتيجة صمود أهلها ومساعدة الجيش المصري .
نرجو الله ان تعود هذه القرية لاصحابها عن قريب

انا ابن هذه القرية لم اولد بها ولكن ابي وامي ولدوا هناك ، فيها اراضينا وحقولنا ،فيها بيتنا فيها صبرنا الصامد لهذا اليوم ، اتمنى ان اراها ،ولا اتمنى ان تعود لاني واثق من انها ستعود يوما ما يعلم الله متى سيكون ولكنها حتما ستعود.
