As a Palestinian from Qastina am proud to be and want to thank all those built up this site.
Lets show this site with its details to our kids, teach them their rights of our homeland and to keep on fighting getting it back.
To all visitors, please spread this site to all you know and lets know each other at least by names.

Assalamu Alikum, Thank You for a great site. This is a great tool to teach our kids about their homeland. I was not born in Palestine but FALASTIEN is in my blood. I do not have any memories of it. However, my mother is from Qastina. I would like to learn more about the families of Qastina. I have been living in the USA for the last 25 yrs.

It will probably not be any comfort to you, and can not make up for the loss of your homes, but as an American Jew I want to tell you I am very sorry. If I were to visit the town where my grandfather was born, Slutsk, in Belarus, I would be hard pressed to find a single Jew, in a place where Jews were the majority before the war. In this respect, the Nakbah and the Holocaust are eerily similar. But just as we must never forget, we must learn to forgive. I forgive the Germans and the Poles and their puppets that slaughtered the Jews of Slutsk. I hope some day you will be able to forgive the Israelis and live together in peace.

This was my father's village before the Nakba. I'm very happy to have this resource. We shall return.
