We moved to Jordan. As far as I remember the father of my grandfather born in Jordan. We kept the name till today. Our grand grand father that came from Biet Iksa called Odeh and our clan "ashiereh" Odeh. I'm proud to have my roots in Paletine and more to belong to Beit Iksa. I wish somebody will put a list of all clans the came, left and/or still in Biet Iksa. Kind regards to all. Ali Kiswani Abu Dhabi

It was beautiful and brought back so many wonderful memories. It hurts to see the destruction, and it hurts to hear that some of you have not returned. I pray that all can return one day and stand on the soil of our grandfathers and great-grandfathers. Inshallah, I plan on taking my 5 children to see Beit Iksa and Palestine for the first time. Long live Palestine!

Posted by صلاح أحمد ياسين الخطيب on August 17, 2007 #19248 اشكركم كثيرا على هذا البرنامج وعلى المجهود الطيب الذي قدم لاظهار بلدات فلسطين وللمحافظة على ارض الوطن لمتابعته مع الاجيال المتوارثة. هذه الصورة تمثل علالي دار الخطيب في بيت أكسا/القدس وكانت مقر مشيخة ال الخطيب حيث كان أجدادي حكاما لمنطقة في/ القدس للفترة ما بين 1800 الى 1930 (وال الخطيب هم أحفاد الشيخ ظاهر عمر الزيداني) بنيت العلالي من الشيد والاسمنت وزيت الزيتون والقصول وكنت اسكن مع اهلي وجدي وجدتي فيه حتى حرب عام 1967 هربنا الى عمان وكنت في حينها طفلا حيث كان يوجد غرفتين ومطبخ وغيره سليمة لم تصب من طائرات الصهاينة التي قصفت العلالي عام 1948 وادى الى تدميروهدم الجزء الآكبر من العلالي والظاهر في الصورة.
