سنجل عروس القرى ) ياسنجل الابيات تاهت في مغانيك
فالناس والأحجار والأشجار كلها تحييك
يا من أخذت قلوب الناس أسرى بما فيك
فالجمال والبهاء أبيات من أغانيك
يوسف الصدّيق في البئر أضحى يزكيك
فالجب والصدّيق أشعلا نورا في أراضيك
يا عروس الشتاء فستان الثلج دوما يغطيك
وإزهار الربيع ثوب بألوان الدُنا تحلّيك
هي بلدتي وأشعاري لها نغم ترنو من شبابيكي
وأبواب الهوى لها مفتحة تلك النسائم والله تُحييك
فالتل والّشّميس معلمان من روابيك
يا سنجل أنت قصيدتي سأنظم الشعر ديوانا في قوافيك
تيهي على البلدان وافتخري أنت العروس عين الله تحميك
أنا من غيرك في غربة فان ذهبت فالعين أمطارا ستبكيك
أنا يا حبيبتي لا أطيق فراقك لا أطيق دموعا تنساب من مآقيك
زيتونك وأوراق الشجر وسنابل القمح صفرا دوما تجلّيك
عين البلد ومغرّبة والحيضان ماؤها مشعشع فيك
أنعم بها من بلدة من درة، شَمَخْتِ فوق القرى من حسن ما فيك
