Posted by ابراهيم بشير on November 1, 2009 #93641 تسلم ايدو نزل هصورة على الموقع الجميل هاد انا لاجىء فلسطيني اسكن في مخيم الدهيشة بيت لحم مهجر من قرية بيت نتيف مع انو بيت نتيف مش بعيدا كثير عنبيت لحم بس ما بقدر ازورها ولهسة انا عمري ما دخلت ولا دست ترابها ان شاء الله لغير نرجع ونعيش فيها ونوكل صبر وتين شكرا لي من ساهم في عمل هاذا الموقع وكل الاحترام

Sheik Abu Sakheir was more knowledgeable than Abu Tarbush.However, both interviews are lacking important information and detail regarding Beit Nattif.Each family discussed has leadership.The head leader, Yousef Ikhmayes, which is ignored by both interviewees, was the individual who was recognized at that time by most of Palestine.i would like to add the actual detail behind that story.Sheik Yousef Ikhmayes was very sick and was in Jerusalem at that time.The Ikhmayes family sent a young man, Said Abdel Fattah Ikhmayes to inform Yousef Ikhmayes of what was happening in Beit Nattif.Yousef Ikhmayes right away, while critically ill, left Jerusalem to go back to Beit Nattif. When he reached there, with his nephew Mohammad Hasan Abu Nahla, he stepped out of the car and spoke with the British officer in charge.With anger, he began to ask the officer of the horrible things that he was doing. The officer then replied, "your people have stolen 600 sheep’s from Abdel Fattah Darwish, when they followed the foot trail of the sheep, it lead to Beit Nattif & we will not release your people until we find out where the sheep are".Yousef then informed the officer that the sheep trails that lead back to our village is in fact our sheep.We raised these sheep and the trail was there because they were coming back home.Because of this, you placed my people, women and children under siege, in hunger and thirst and fear.He then told the translator to tell the officer, "wallahi la al3an denak". The translator was afraid to tell the officer what Yousef had said. He insisted and yelled at the translator to tell the officer.The officer saw how Yousef was beginning to get angry and asked the translator what he was yelling about.The translator translated what Yousef had said, Yousef than opened the car door and was attempting to get back into the car to go back to Jerusalem to inform the British representitive.The officer then grabbed Youef's arm and told the translator to tell Yousef that they should negotiate.Yousef then told the officer that i would not negotiate while my people under siege.He told the officer that you must release my people before we can talk and the officer ordered the soldiers to free the people and they did.Yousef Ikhmayes then told the officer that Abdel Fattah Darwish is a traitor and an agent to the Jewish agency in selling Palestinian property.The officer accepted the story and was about to leave, but Yousef told him that he would like to show Beit Nattif’s generosity and invited him and other soldiers for lunch, except this traitor, Abdel Fattah Darwish.The officer apologized because he could not accept the invitation at that moment because he had work & promised that he would inform Yousef in a couple of days of when he will come over.The next week the officer notified Yousef that he would join him for lunch, and he came through and was grateful of the generosity of Beit Nattif.

Posted by anas dibes on August 2, 2007 #18776 انا لجىء فلسطيني ليست انا من هجرة من بيت نتيف لكن جد مع هذا كله اتمنى اليوم الذي اعود الى ارضي جدي ون قبله ارض اجادي لم ارى بيت نتيف نهائيا ولكن دايما اسمها محفور في قلبي اني اتمنى لو اعود الى بيت نتيف واكل زيتنها الاخضر وزعترها انالم اعرف عن حيات الفلاح الكثير من شقاء وعناء ولكن ازا سمح الي ان او الى بيت نتيف سوف اترك كل شى من مال ومنصب واعود الى بيت نتيف كي اعيش فلاح فلسطينين ابن بينت نتيف انس الدبس 22 سنة
