1. Donation

PalestineRemembered.com, a non-patrician privately funded Palestinian organization, incurs a lot of expense to present you this interview. Currently, we are in serious need to maintain and expand the Oral History project to other countries beside Jordan. 2. Finding Potential Cases

If you are aware of any potential refugees from other towns whom we can interview in Jordan, please contact Mr. Rakan Mahmoud at +962-79-661-5275 with your information. Currently, we are pressed hard to interview people from towns that we have not yet covered, your help is CRITICAL since time is our main enemy.

3. Conducting Interviews

Help preserving our history and culture for future generations. To make it easier on you, we have authored a training manual and a list of questions. We suggest studying these two documents carefully, then use any available technology (such as video camera, digital recorder, or even regular tap recorder) to retain Nakba Oral History as much as you can. Once done, we will be more than happy to post your work at the site after crediting you completely for your work.

4. Transcribing

We are in need of people who have the time and patience to carefully listen to what is spoken in the interviews, and to rephrase it to traditional Arabic (Fus-haa). Then the manuscript has to be typed in Arabic text, which later should be translated to English. It should be noted that you will be COMPLETELY credited and your work shall be published next to each transcribed interview.

بسم الله الرحمن الرحيم ...
شكرا جزيلا لكم على مجهودكم الرائع .. وشكر خاص للاستاذ سعيد عجاوي .. جزاك الله خيرا اخي .. على عملك الرائع والمشرف ..

قريه نورس قريه جميله جدا .. أنل زرتها في سنه 2005 تقريبا .. لا زال شجر التوت .. والعنب .. والزيتزن قائمه .. وما زالت تحمل اثمار .. وهنالك الكثير من الابار .. والمقبره ما زالت موجوده .
الى جانب كل بيت (بقايا بيت ) يوجد اشجار وساحه ... حتى الطرق بين البيوت ما زالت قائمه ..
لكن للأسف اليوم بم تعد نورس نورس بل اصبحت مستعمره اسمها نوريت ...

بأذن الله ستعودون وتعود نورس معكم ..

اود ان اعبر عن امتناني وخالص شكري للقائمين على هذا الموقع المميز الذي يذكرنا بكل قرانا المسلوبة والتي تم تهجير اجدادنا منها قصرا لتذكرنا كيف كانت حياة اجدادنا بها.
انا من سكان مدينة جنين والاصل من قرية نورس المدمرة .
اني اعتب عليكم لان اخي احد شهداء انتفاضة الاقصى واسمه
فراس ذياب قاسم ابو حطب او كما هو في هويته الشخصية فراس ذياب قاسم سباعنة حيث استشهد بتاريخ 24\11\2000
وانتم لم تضعوا صورة له ضمن قائمة شهداء قؤية نورس.
لذلك انوهكم .
مع اطيب امنياتي لكم بالاستمرار.
