I went to the elementary school in Mia Mia in the 50,s with a lot of the Kaawash family people and enjoyed knowing a lot of them at that time among them Fawzy kaawash and Hatim Kaawash Jalal Kaawash and Marwan and many others. I am sure some of you whe lived in Mia Mia in the 50,s still remember me. Now I live in the USA and I am doing well Thanks to the creators of this web site and to all kaawash family ,Any of you who knows Kamal Mansour in Saida please say hello to him.

:) what a good feeling to see the new generation who didn't see our miroun to talk about it in this way , when first i found this site it was empty and look after 2 years many of our family has found it and joind it ,am really proud and happy and we all must be proud that we are from miroun , its in our heart always even most of us don't know it but its our homeland and we belong there , we don't belong to anywhere else and don't want to go to anywhere else exept miroun , its our love .

I wish i have a squre meter in my home land
we know every thing about it but i have never seen it also i feel it always in my heart and soul.We will go back to it no matter is .I WISH MEET SOON ALL IN MEYROON :)

Whatever I'll say won't be enough. However, many from our family dedicated their whole life for just the hope of seeing "MIRUN" one day...my father was one of those "heroes". The least I can say that my father wished to go back to his birth place "MIRUN", even if he had to crawl or die trying. Well am willing to follow his league just to find out how MIRUN's dirt smells like after the rain, to sleep where my grandfathers stepped before, to sleep under my own moon, and to wake on my own sunshine. when my day comes, my flesh will be the bread for my land, my blood will be the wine in her glass, and my soul would forever roam among my grandfather's spirits, over my "Makka", my "Bait Lahem" and my "Aqsa" ...MIRUN
(P.S: I never wrote any thing like that in my life, maybe "not sleeping for 3 days" made me write that, but at least I know I meant every word of it)

I am also from Safad but I (have) never seen it. Some people say that mayroon was very pretty and has a lot of green fields and nature. I would love to learn more about my home town and meet more people from dar Kawash. Anyways peace to mayroon and all Ka3wash members.

I was so happy to find this forum, I am from Meirun as well, a relative to all of u. I never saw Palestine, but always dreamed of it. It will live in my soul untill the day comes when we will plant our seeds again in our soil. Lets all pray for that day to come and maybe do the minimume we can to make it come.

Hi All Kawashis,I read in one Old book that Mirun is the "One Family Village". I am proud to be from Mirun and from the Great Kawash Family,in fact,I do not know Mirun,I was born in Lebanon and I am staying in UAE for more than 17 years,Mirun is in my heart and in my soul,I ,my father told me alot about our village which I imagine more beautiful than a piece of land in Switzerland or lets say like a piece in Heaven,Let's all keep our beloved Mirun in our heart and the day will come when we go back there to rebuild it by our hands,theat day will come Inshallah.

I've never been to Palistine in my life but i learnt alot about my homeland (Mirun-Safad) from my Father Abdullah Kawash.
we have lived all our life in Kuwait and i dont know if any of the Kawash's is still living there.
i hope that we all meet and gather once again where we all belong.....Mirun.

I was raised in Kuwait and studeid there and also still
living and working there. I love my home town Mirun and I
only know about it ffrom what my Late grandmother Om Taha
told me about . My Mother was young when they get out off it
she was only 9 years and she remmember some thing about it.
I reaad names in this guest book I dont know them, this is
because we are around the world not knowing eachother. I hope
one day we will meet in Mirun and get to know the others.I will

My father was born in -PALESTINE-Mirun in 1943. The memory of the place is vague in his mind but very well alive in the hearts of his Children and Grandchildren!
Lots of Love and best of regards to all the Palestinian Families that keep the spirit and struggle for justice alive!

I had so many things to write about how i feel about being from Mirun or in other words a Kawash. However, after reading the messages from my other relatives who I didn't know any of them, I felt so alone. It's strange to realize that people, your flesh & and blood, feel the same way about your roots and having your exact dreams of one day to be able to go
back home and still you never met them. It makes me so proud to find you all here, and my feeling of belonging to this great family and Mirun is growing by the day.
God bless you all and I hope one day we and our children can meet back in Mirun.
