If you are aware of any potential refugees from other towns whom we can interview in Jordan, please contact Mr. Rakan Mahmoud at +962-79-661-5275 with your information. Currently, we are pressed hard to interview people from towns that we have not yet covered, your help is CRITICAL since time is our main enemy.
Help preserving our history and culture for future generations. To make it easier on you, we have authored a training manual and a list of questions. We suggest studying these two documents carefully, then use any available technology (such as video camera, digital recorder, or even regular tap recorder) to retain Nakba Oral History as much as you can. Once done, we will be more than happy to post your work at the site after crediting you completely for your work.
We are in need of people who have the time and patience to carefully listen to what is spoken in the interviews, and to rephrase it to traditional Arabic (Fus-haa). Then the manuscript has to be typed in Arabic text, which later should be translated to English. It should be noted that you will be COMPLETELY credited and your work shall be published next to each transcribed interview.

كل التحية والشكر لكل القائمين على هذا المشروع الوطني الطيب , وتحية طيبة للخال "ابو مروان" ولكل جيل النكبة, اود الاضافة الى كلام الخال بشدة المعاناة التي عاشها وعاناها ابناء الشعب الفلسطيني في اللجوء واذكر هنا جدي "يونس محمود عبدالله جروان" رحمه الله الذي عاش في بلده قزازة عيشة الملك بعد ان كان جدي محمود عبدالله شيخ الثلاث قرى "قزازة,اذنبة,جلية" لكنه ذاق الويلى في غربته هو والباقين من ابناء القرية , كل الشكر للخال

بداية نشكرالقائمين على هذا العمل الرائع والمفيد لتنشيط وتثبيت الذاكرة الفلسطينيةلدى الأجيال القادمة,كما وددت الاضافة بأن أبناء قريتناالحبيبةشاركوا في معركة خلدة وشاركوا في الثورات الفلسطيبية المختلفةواستشهد البعض كما سجن اخرون مثل جدي المرحوم باذن اله محمود عبدالله جروان وابناء عمومته حيث سجنهم الانجليز بعدمحاولة التعتيم على ابن عمهم القائد شاكر عبد العزيز حيث كان محكوما عليه بالاعدام.
في النهاية أرجو من خلالكم أن نتواصل نحن أبناء قرية قزازة وهي بالمناسبة تعني بالسريانية المقاتل الشجاع
وانوه أيضاً ان ألمؤرخ ابونوار يذكر بأن القرية تعرضت لمذبحة بعد اغتيال اثنين من اليهود أحدهما جنرال في الموساد
