Hello everyone,
It's my pleasure to share some of my thoughts with my countrymen. I was born in Palestine and had the pleasure of visiting the birthplace of my father and mother, Na'ani in 1982. My father took me to an old structure built around the old train tracks. Inside, on the walls, he showed me where he and his friends as kids wrote their names on the walls. You can imagine how excited I was to see some familiar names! He also showed me where their old home used to be. It's quiet interesting to me as to why the settlers left that structure standing while they erased everything else...maybe to remind them of their victory everytime they looked at it.
I currently live in the US with partial family. The rest are in Palestine.
Hope to hear from more people!

Assalamu Alaikum,
My Name is Jalal Mahmoud Mohammad Ahmad Ibrahim. I am, as my family before me, originally from Na'ani. I still clearly remember the stories my grandfather Mohammad Ahmad Ibrahim used to tell me about my town in palestine. I am currently married and live in USA. I have four kids: Mahmoud, Ghada, Omar and Dalya. This message is to my villagemates from Na'ani and for my kids so they know where are they from. I have never been to Na'ani, but the Na'ani I know is the one that lives clearly in my mind from the description of my grandfather and not the fields present there now. I think as part of this effort everybody from our village should write as much as they can and know about the history of our village so we can keep it for our kids.
Salaam
Jalal

My name is Ahmed Abdullatif Ahmed Abu Ali, (Al Dasouqi is our big family .I was born after Nakba 13/4/1955 in Aqbat Jabr- Jericho(Ariha).I live in Jeddah Saudi Arabia with my small family. Luckily I visited our village (Na'ani) 1976 during a 10 days visit to Gaza to see some relatives there. I found our village totally demolished as all houses were built of mud bricks except some concrete ruins my father told that it belonged to village school. near to school I saw the village water well which the whole village used to get all water supply.the only coplete building still stands about 200 meters is the railway station.Brothers & sisters they live in Amman.I visit them during summer yearly.I like to exchange ideas with our village members. all contacts welcomed.

As salamo 3alaikum wa ra7matullahi wa barakato
Dear brothers and Sister of al Na'ani,
first of all I want to thank the website publisher for this kind of work. I have seen al Na'ani a couple of years ago on a Video Tape which my second grade uncle has done on his journey to palestine but the first think I had done when reading this page has been to clear my tears. Even if I'm the second generation of Abu Mousa in germany and the first Abu Mousa who is born here, my roots belong to there. I could never live in Jordan or in any other arabic country expect of F E L E S T E E N , specially al Na'ani. I remeber, that my grandfather Ismail, ra7imahullahi wa ya7san 3elaihi, dreamed to go back home, he keep his dream in his heart till he passed last year away. He ; my granny, ra7amahallahu wa ye7sen 3eleha; and the rest of my fam told me all about al Na'ani. My grandfather has also lived under 7okum al 3osmani and told me bout these days. We have to stay strong and put our faith into Allah because Felesteen hasn't gone without a reason and insha'allah it will return with the help of Allah and his blessed messenger Isa, 3alaihi as salaam. The house which this website dedicated, I mean the one which hasn't been destroyed, belongs to a relative from my grannys part ( 3elet Qamar). If anyone has problems with the fam name Abu Mousa, our family has also been know under the name " daar 3abboud" which goes back to my grand-grandfather Abdel Kaders laqab " 3abboud" ! Does anyone remember the mukhtaars family " daar abu shaweesh" ???
If anyone from al Na'ani likes to contact me : Ahlan wa Sahlan. At the end I wish you all the best Allah has to give wa salamo 3alaikum wa ra7matullahi wa barakato
akhukum Fadi A. I. Abu Mousa

First thing, I want to send my best regards to all these brothers who helped to build this website. it will be one of the greatest opportunity to read about my village and to see a picture of it, which I might haven؟t seen it or visit it before. I have never seen my village AL-NA'ANI, and maybe you too. But 1 day we are going back (INSHA ALLAH), rebuild it again. Na'ani and Palestine are in our hearts forever and no one can erase it, Its our land and we will not SELL it to any one.
