The english soldiers were very aggressive towards the men in Jaffa. With due respect i would like to add something to this uprise. The main reason was to open a port in Tel-Aviv, since you cannot open it as long as Jaffa port was there. So with the aprising everything was closed, including our port. After six months of strike tel-aviv port was built.

The protest in 1936 was known by the Palestinian Arab Revolt of 1936 (thaoret 36) against the British. The term uprising "intifada" was first used in 1987 against the Israeli occupation.
