Posted by السندباد on October 12, 2009 #91737 ان وادي الحسي هو الوادي الذي سكنه السواركة منذ قدومهم لمؤازرة قبيلة الجبارات في حروبها ، فجزء من قبيلة السواركة عاد الى سيناء حيث تجمع القبيلة الام والقسم الآخر بقي في الحسي وهم من عرفو لاحقاً بسواركة وادي الحسي ، ومعروف تاريخياً أن أول من حط بوادي الحسي هما أثنين من الاخوة وعبد لهما يقال له الزرّيقي وكان هؤلاء الاخوين هما سالم ومحمد الرغامي وقد توافد فيما بعد على المنطقة باقي السواركة وعاشوا في المنطقة فترة طويلة امتدت حتى الهجرة ،، وفي مسيرة حياتهم أجمع رجال العشيرة على تعيين مختار من بينهم لتكون شؤونهم مستقلة عن جيرانهم وقد وقع اختيارهم على تعيين سلمان بن رفيع مختاراً للعشيرة ،، وقد ظل السواركة يسكنون الوادي الى جانب ابناء عمهم المنايعة الى أن حلت الهجرة عليهم بكوارثها .

Posted by السندباد on October 12, 2009 #91714 مشكور يا الذيب على الصورة فهي لتل الحسي حيث كان يقطن سواركة وادي الحسي بالقرب من قبيلة الجبارات وقد انقسم اليوم سواركة وادي الحسي اليوم في سكنهم بين معسكر جباليا والمملكة الاردنية وجميعهم يعيشون على امل العودة لبلادهم .

Posted by Jeffrey A. Blakely on February 11, 2009 #67278 This photograph is Tell el-Hesi looking pretty much straight north. It was excavated 1890 to 1892 and from 1970 to 1983. I am the director of the publication effort for these excavations.
