Your question was actually rude and based on your own assumption. Never say "Most people" unless you have actually met most of the people.

In Islam, all Muslims are brothers and sisters, regardless of what city, country or nationality one belongs too. There is not a single city with a 100 percent perfect population, bad apples exist everywhere, what if everyone would start judging an entire city or country based on those apples?

At least with the Nabulsians, i have never heard anyone of them claim they are anything but Palestinian. Ever been to Jordan? there are some Palestinians (i wont say from where in Palestine) there that call themselfs "Jordanian" and don't care about Palestine whatsoever, they don't even consider themselfs to be Palestinian.

Salam

Sorry i disagree with you, Where i live, the Nabulsians have helped other Palestinians (from diffirent cities) to the maximum, especially the "3azzabiye", they even let them sleep in their houses and invite them home to eat with them every time there is a 3azome just so they will feel like they have a family here. And they are the ones organizing and gathering people for demonstrations for Gaza.

There are conceited people everywhere by the way, and im sure there are Nabulsians who are conceited just like im sure there are others who are. And since you ask why "most people from Nables are conceited", i ask you, have you met most of the Nabulsians that exist? I doubt it :) You base this on those you have met, not on "most people from Nablus". Besides, all Palestinians are proud of their cities. Especially those from cities like 3akka, 7efa, Al qodes, Nablus, Hebron, Yaffa, Nasre etc.

والان ايا يدمر ويمحى معالمه بسبب المباني المحيطة
فهذه دعوة لكل غيور للحفاظ على هذه الاثار

hello

Posted by A humble Palestinian on August 30, 2007 #19717

I am, and will always be, a very proud Palestinian. I have travelled around the world and met many Palestinians from all parts of Palestine. I am writing to ask a very sincere question to people from this beautiful city - why is it that most of those people that are from Nablus are very conceited? I am serious and honestly don't mean this in a bad way - but the people I have encountered that are from Nablus (young and old) are very conceited towards other Palestinians. It is disappointing to see palestinians like this with each other.
Peace
A Humble Palestnian

I was born in Nablus a long time ago and had to leave as a teenager. My life winded along and now I am half a world away. Annajah was a high school when I left. I do not recognize the features of the city anymore.

Aloha from Hawaii.
I just "stumbelled" on your site and I was deeply impressed and touched. I browsed a little to get familiarized with the site. I believe with the proper nurturing it will have a monumental impact on many peoples' understanding and appreciation of the plight of the Palestinian people. May justice prevail so that peace may be achieved.
