Posted by Victor de la Barrera on November 20, 2007 #23805 Glass factory at Tantura to supply bottles for the wines produced in the settlements, mainly the nearby Zikhron Ya'aqov. The factory was closed in 1894 when it became clear that the local sand was unsuitable. Today it is the site of the Hamizgaga Museum for the antiquities found in the port of Dor.
