This is a Very interesting website, you find out who your relatives are and can relate to this website more than any other website. My name is Roa Mazen Zeyna, I am from the hamoula of Safaran, I've only been to Palestine once or twice about ten years ago and i wish to go back there one day. I thank all those that helped in the creation of this site.

My name is Hanaa Jaber and both of my parents (Ali & Naheel Jaber) are from Lifta. I actually found this site when I was planning on visiting Palestine and I was wondering if anyone really knew or had heard of Lifta. I was in complete shock when I found this site. I was so happy to know that Lifta is still not gone and that Lifta's memory still lives on. And I love that this book gets to connect all of us from all around the world. I hope to hear from everyone and I will definitely be back to this site. I hope everyone receives this message in great health. take care.

Thanks for a great website. My father's family was forced out of Lifta in 1948. As Palestinians, it is important that we continue to share our stories with the world. I've recently made a documentary film about my family's experience: www.belongingthefilm.com Keep sharing the memories. |

HELLO! I am very honored to find this website and I'm proud to respond to this guest book.My grandfather was born in Lifta and then left to Jordan and resumed the rest of his life there with never going back,it is sad that i would love to go there but Lifta is no more! |

Wa Salam to everyone!!!! wow when i found this website i must say i was very excited! my father was born in lifta, along with his family. in 1948, he and his family were forced out of lifta, and then grew up in deir debwan and bietin. Nobody from my family has really gone back, we only have a few relatives now in jerusalem though. There are some people who have signed this guest book who father recognizes their families, thats exciting. someday i hope to travel to lifta, i have seen pictures of it, and its soo beautiful! someday inshallah i will bring my father and his family back there.
