i'm so glad that i found a good web site about palestine, and especcialy about hebron. my origins are from that city, and my biggest wish is to wist it one day, in sha allah....

القسم الثاني: بالفتح ثم الكسر. معن الماء بمعنى سهُل وسال وجرى فهو معين. ج. مُعُن ومُعُنات. وفي التنزيل «فمن يأتيكم بماء معين» بمعنى «ماء جار».
وبئر معين قريتنا هذه تقع في الجهة الشرقية من الرملة، بانحراف قليل إلى الجنوب، وهي صغيرة مساحتها تسعة دونمات.
تملك بئر معين أراض مساحتها (9319) دونماً منها دونم للطرق والوديان وهي ملك لأهلها. غرس الزيتون في 146 دونماً. وتحيط بهذه الأراضي أراضي قرى البرج وصفّا وبيت سيراو البويرة والكنيسة وسلبيت وبيت شنّه ويرفيليا.
كان في بئر معين في عام 1922 (289) شخصاً بلغوا في عام 1931 355 نسمة ـ 182 ذ. و173 ن ـ مسلمون ولهم 85 بيتاً. وفي عام 1945م قدروا بـ510 نفوس.
وفي بئر معين مدرسة تأسست في عام 1934، تلاصق بناء مسجد القرية. بلغ عدد طلابها 40 طالباً. يعلمهم معلم واحد. ولها مكتبة بها 84 كتاباً. وفي القرية سبعون رجلاً يلمون بالقراءة والكتابة.
تقع الخربتان الآتيتان في جوار بين معير:
(1) خربة الحداثة: تقع في الجنوب الغربي من القرية، تحتوي على: «أساسات دور وأكرام حجارة مبان، وصهاريج وقطع أعمدة ومُغُر منقورة في الصخر ومدافن»(98).
(2) خربة ام الجمان: تقع في الجهة الشرقية من بير معين، تحتوي على «حظيرة مربعة كبيرة»(99).

I look back, imagining the scene in my head; with my grandfather and his brothers and sisters as little children, holding some of their toys, walking, walking walking, until they reached their destination; far far away from home. I try to imagine the pain of my great grandfather, having leaving everything he and his father and grandfather worked for all their lives. I think of the pain of my grandmother, dragging 10 young children, the youngest age 9 months, over and under the hills and mountains of Safad, through dangerous roads and allies until they settled in Damascus.
I do believe that one day, the people who took my land will drag themselves, the way my family was forced out. I do believe that one day, i'll be walking in the "Hara" probably looking for the remains of what my family owned. I do belive that some day, I will know the feeling of being in my homeland, a local in my country.. A feeling that many people in the world take forgranted.
As years pass by adding one year
You seem so far while I'm so near

You have to see it yourself, travel into the Palestinian areas, and see all by your own eyes. Too many people believe the have seen the Middle East by traveling "offocially", but the only way is to see all yourself, and not listening to propaganda.
You must see the difficulties for the Palestinians, how difficult it is to reach their work in Jerusalem, the discrimination and so on.
People in Israel must learn from history. You can not do something with injustice with more injustice. Tje Jewish people have suffered much, but that give them not the right to make injustice to the Palestinians.
There must be justice for all in this area, and people may live as brothers and sisters. We are all people. AND THERE MUST BE THE AME RIGHTS FOR ALL. The Palestinians have the right to live in peace and free for occupation. Israel must out of Palestine immediately(THE WESTERN BANK), AND PEOPLE IN Gaza must have an corridor to reach the other areas in Palestine.
The world can not forget the Palestinians, they are our brothers and sisters!
The world has a responsibility for the Palestinians and their situation. The Palestinian people must feel that we in the west don't forget then and their situation. We must write i western newspapers about their situation. I will say here i sit in the northern NORWAY: FREEDOM AND JUSTICE FOR THE PALESTINIAN PEOPLE!

Its me again.
Well, first of all I have got and idea.
This comming November 29 is the International day of Solidarity with the Palestinian people. And I was thinking- after visitng hundreds of webpages helping and commemorating Palestine, and seeing thousands of people worldwide concerned about the cause, but lacking means to help- that WE ALL SHOULD UNITE AND HELP once and for all. REMEBER: UNION MAKES FORCE and the only way to not let our people be continually abbused of and terrorized is to unite forces. Hey I think we all have ideas...we all know how to do things.
Me, and with another friend are planning to get togehter to make plans and see what can we do. we were thinking of an exposition revelaing the awful truth... a peacefull exposition in an university or mall...and recolecting money to send to Palestine. and also clarifying certain misconceptions that common people have. Also, reivindicating oursleves, making people be aware that we still exist and are NOT THE BAD ONES!!!
Here in my city lives the largest community of palestinian inmigrants in the whole country...and is the second largest community in South America. My parents are nvolved in a couple of latin-arab cultural foundations, and I also know one in Chile. They are certainly big...
So...if there are thousands of people worldwide....wanting to do something.....people who have discovered the truth thanks to WONDERFUL SITES LIKE THIS ONE...WHY CANT WE UNITE... AND MARK A DIFERENCE IN THE LIVES OF THOSE DEFENDING FIST TO FIST OUR LAND, WITH TEARS, BLOOD AND SWEAT OF THEIR OWN..

I live in South America and both my fahter's family and my mother's family are Palestinians from Bethlehem. I have been studying the cause for almost 4 years, ( i am 16 ) and it has turned into the most important thing in my live. I've no longer slept well, and all my thoughts, actions and words regard Palestine and our diaspora. I live in a constant state of frustration, melancholy, I really cant find peace. I am about to graduate and you cant imagine the love I have for Palestine, its like an addiction ( a good one) and I really think I have to do something. My life is still ahead. This is the only thing that has kept me alive. I really need some advice, someone I can talk to and that can understand me...please feel free to write to me:

many things have happened to me since I got involved in this-I almost got expelled from school because of some jews who were simply afraid of my nationalism and what I knew....they are just afraid that someone finally knew te truth.they even dare to call me a terrorist...( and that include the ppople at my school and my own family!-they are just blind-)

تحية طيبة وبعد إنه يطيب لي أن أقدم لكم شكري وتحياتي على هذا العمل النبيل والذي لا يغف أهمية الذاكرة ، وأبلغكم أنني ابن لقرية خريش التي بلغ عدد أهلها 349 شخصا وطردوا منها من خلال مسلسل للطرد والتهجير بدأ في عام 1948 وانتهى في 28 شباط 1952 بطردهم منها إلى جلجولية وكفرقاسم في الداخل وقرى الضفة الغربية في الخارج وتلاه تدميرها وبقيت بعض المواقع فيها والذي سرني أنكم قمتم بتصويرها ، أبلغكم وجود مخطوطة عندي عنها وتقع في 200 صفحة وقد سبق لي أن كتبت عن بيت جبرين من قرى الخليل ونشرته جامعة بيرزيت أمل أن أجد من يطبع كتابي وينشره ودمتم والله من وراء القصد .

But do not fight without planing ahed; avoid harming the inocent at all time and try to reach peace with as litle violence as possible. Show the world true Islam; show them that we Muslims are not cold-blooded barbarian murderors as some think of us. Have faith in Allah, always remember Him and He will remember you.

يافا مدينتي الحبيبة، يافتي الحبيبة وبرتقال يافتي الذي أذهل العالم، يافتي التي لم أراها ولكنني سمعت عنها من أجدادي، أعرف أنني من عائلات يافا العريقة جدا وهذه العائلة تكاد تكون من أكبر مؤسسين مدينة يافا.
عمل معظم رجالات هذه العائلة في تجارة الأقمشة في سوق البلابسة من
أشهرهم الحج خليل زعبلاوي، الحج يعقوب زعبلاوي، الحج حامد زعبلاوي، سكنت عائلة زعبلاوي في أحياء يافا مثل المنشية والنزهة.. لعائلة زعبلاوي كثير من البيارات (مزارع برتقال وحمضيات)
هاجر معظم أفراد العائلة عام 1948 إلى مدينة عمان - الأردن ومدينة دمشق - سوريا.
يشغل كثير من عائلة زعبلاوي مناصب علمية مرموقة مثل الدكتور عصام زعبلاوي وزير التعليم العالي السابق في الأردن (عميد كلية الهندسة في الجامعة الأردنية)، وأيضا شغل منصب مدير جامعة الشارقة لسنوات عديدة. كذلك الدكتور يوسف زعبلاوي من أشهر الكتاب في الوطن العربي (دكتوراه فلسفة من الجامعة الأمريكية ببيروت).
لعائلة زعبلاوي مصاهرات كثيرة مع عائلات أخرى يافاوية مثل: الكولاغاصي، الكيالي، الكردي، أبو شليح، الطاهر، القطان، أبو جبارة.

رصاص الغدر اصابه في معركة 1948 وبقي 6 أشهر في المستشفى وبعدها بقي 6 أشهر اخرى أسير لدى أولاد القحبة
