It would have been more advisable if Your
Excellency and your Government submitted a
protest, even in light terms, to the Government
which sent shipments, involving death and destruc-
tion, with intent to destroy the Arabs of Pales-
tine, the legitimate owners of the country,
instead of submitting a strongly worded protest
to the Syrian Government, the sister country
from which Arab men came to resist the enforcement
of the unjust and oppressive decision. We have
received your protest with deep regret and
indignation, particularly as you are leaving, and
request you to put an end to such shameful
discrimination.
