Hello, I am doing research on my grandfather. I found British documentation from the mandate period that stated my grandfather went to Islikal School. I think he may have went to school at this mosque. Do you happen to know if this mosque had a school for children in the 1930's?

This mosque that was built in the 1920’s and is the largest and most
active and central mosque in Haifa. The mosque also houses religious
institutions known as the Shari’a court and the waqf administration,
which serve the Muslim Arab sector of Haifa. The history of the mosque
is rich in numerous events, such as a prayer carried out by the former
Egyptian President, Anwar Saadat, inside the mosque in 1979 while
visiting Haifa. The mosque is situated on 1 Kibbutz Galuyot Street, corner
of Pal-Yam Avenue.
