Town's name through history
The Romans referred to Idnibba by Danuba, and the Crusades called it Danuba.
Archeological sites
The village has three large khirbats which contains the ruins of buildings, cisterns, caves, foundations, door lintels, and a rock-hewn wine press.
Exculsive jewish colonies on town's lands
No Israeli settlements on village lands.

According to the Palestinian historian Walid Khalidi, all that remains of the village:
"The site and the surrounding lands have been converted into pastures and woods. A large area has been leveled by bulldozers. Demolished walls and the remnants of stone houses lie at various points on the site. "
