Schools An elementary school for boys which was founded in 1946, and it had an intial enrollment of 65 students.
Notable people from town al-Tina was the birthplace of 'Abd al-Fattah Humud (1933-68), a petroleum engineer who was one of the founding members of al-Fatah, the largest PLO faction.
