Schools
Qastina had an elementary school for boys founded in 1936, and in 1945 it had an enrollment of 161 students. The students of the nearby village of Tall al-Turmus used to attend the same school too.

According to the Palestinian historian Walid Khalidi, the village remaining structures on the village land are:
"All that remains is the debris of houses strewn across the site. The research team investigating the current status of the depopulated villages visited the site and found it overgrown with bushes and tall grasses that were about 2m high. "
