thank you for exposing the zionist occupation and it's crimes.

But remember that all states create death and domination and so will an independent palestinian state.
then it will be time for palestinians to hurt each other.
i say no to that.
INSTEAD, LET US WORK FOR A FREE FEDERATION OF SELF MANAGED COMMUNITIES AND SOCIETIES THROUGHOUT THE MIDDLE EAST, WITH EQUALITY FOR EVERYBODY.
so no to occupation, yes to the right of return, yes to palestinian independance for those who want it. but no to nationalist state solutions. yes to freedom.

Alsalam Alikum warahmatullah wabarakatuh
As a palestinian living in Palestine on the ground, in this holy land. i'm sending my greatings to all palestinians who live abroad, and telling them our victory is so soon inshaallah, really i want to let all palestinians outside and all pro palestinians to know that we are powerfull even we dont have army we dont have that weapons and there is no balance between what the zionist and israelis have of technology and weapons, we are stornger than them coz we are brave hearts and we dont fear death ""Qatlana fee Aljanna wa qatlahom fee Alnar" and we die standing like trees.
A palestinian child is powerfull more than sharon and bush these tow bastards, we will strike them and beat them Inshaallah and they will never know sleep and feel peace in our lands, one day we all will go back to our villages and cities they stolen and at this day Inshallah all palestinian refugees will be here in palestine smelling the air of palestine and touching the ground praying in Alquds inshaallah our eternal capital and rise our flag minarets of Alqus, 'ina Allah ma3ana walnasro lana' long live Palestine Arabic Islamic country.

Hi,
As a jew living in the United States, I feel ashamed for what my people in Israel have done. Never before i have experienced outright shame.

I wonder what made the jews in Israel become such efficient killers.

The rise of the Phoenix

As most Palestinians, born as a refugee and heard my grandmother's stories on the daughter of the sultan, the prince on his white horse, Jafa oranges, Akka walls, Jerusalem cookies and the sea of Haifa.
I believed in Freedom, the jailed people and its justice, took hold of my gun and started yelling for freedom
Tasted freedom many times, breathed the air of Palestine, touched the soil of that blessed land, heard the songs of the phoenix and tasted the metal of F-16
Believed and loved that blessed poor people, felt their agony and heard their cry for freedom
Blessed are such hearts, Blessed are the hearts that are filled with love and freedom.
Blessed are the oranges of jafa, the walls of Akka and the sea of Haifa.

peace and blessings to all palestineans every where in the world and to all those who fight for freedom and human rights. i am a second generation american, non arab, non muslim...and in my memories i have my grandfathers stories telling me how he left his home and all his family behind, never seeing them again to seek a new life in the usa. i was only a small girl, but his words burned are in my mind... leaving the place you love for economic reasons. how much more deep is the condition of palestineans, where entire families have been thrown from their homes and scattered across the globe - - some living in refugee camps facing the similar inhumane living conditioins that they sought to leave in their homeland; and those who remain are constantly, repeatedly made to live in deplorable situations; dehumanized daily - - men woman and children - - at the hands of these godless souless zionists. i do not support the american foreign policies and work actively to bring the palestinean issue to the forefront of legislative and governmental agencies here. its is my duty and my responsibility as a citizen to speak out when our government breaks all the tennents for which we stand. palestine is under occupation but the usa is under soft occupation; one the american pple need to address. concerning the murders of yassin and rantisi my full support goes to the palestinean pple in the fight for their right of self determination; one that should be protected under international laws but has been stolen from them through the actions of the zionists that have solicited the usa to do their dirty work. thanks for a comprehensive site rich in indisputable facts - - god bless palestine - - god bless freedom fighters - - long live palestine and the palestinean pple and their continued strength in taking back what has been stolen

I AM AN AMERICAN, AND I DO NOT SUPPORT BUSH OR HIS SUPPORT FOR ISRAEL IS ANY WAY. I AM DEEPLY SORRY ABOUT WHAT IS HAPPENING TO PALESTINIANS, AND I WANT YOU TO KNOW THAT THERE ARE MORE AMERICANS THAN MANY KNOW THAT DONT SUPPORT BUSH AND THAT WANT HIM OUT OF OFFICE SO THAT SOMEONE ELSE CAN STOP HIS BAD FOREIGN POLICY. DONT HATE AMERICANS AS A WHOLE, HATE GEORGE W BUSH. MANY OF US DONT HAVE THE INDIVIDUAL POWER TO IMMEDIATELY STOP WHAT IS HAPPENING, BUT WE ARE PRAYING FOR YOU, AND TRYING TO EDUCATE OTHERS ON WHAT IS HAPPENING SO THAT THEY TOO WILL STAND UP AGAINS BUSH AND SHARON.

Dear Patriots,
The Return to Palestine seems to get nearer and nearer as more of our Martyrs (like Sheikh Yassin, Rantisi, and others before them) go down in the battle fields. Just imagine the state that Israel was in during the 1980's and its state in these days. The trend is obvious, weaker and weaker with deteriorating security and reputation. On the other hand, our will and determination are stronger and stronger. We all look in one direction, towards Jerusalem. Never give up hope for the dawn is about to break and our just cause will , by Will of God, ultimately defeat the racist blood thirsty Zionists.

Hi, I am an American student. I want everyone to know that not all Americans support Bush and his disastrous policies. I support the right of the Palestinians to a homeland as well as the right of all the refugees to return to the homes they were forced out of. What the Israelis have done to the Palestinians is reprehensible, I work everyday to educate people to the truth of what is happening in Palestine. I am deeply troubled and sorry that my government supports Sharon and his evil doings.

Again I wonder, who gave Mr.Bush the right to cancel The Legitimate Right of Return of Palestinian Refugees to their Homeland, which they were driven out of it by Terrorist Ethnic Cleansing? Mr. Bush isnt this a Back Up of Terrorism by itself, which you & USA declare war on and are fighting it in the whole world except Palestine? Needles to mention that we are in the 21st century but unfortunately the rules of the jungle are still the prevailing laws in this world. Since we are talking about the jungle, I would like to mention the story of ؟The king of the jungle and the Fox؟
؟The lion, the king of the jungle who once thought of delegating the authorities of the jungle to the foxes to rule the forest which turned out to create disturbance and confusion that did not work out.؟
Palestine is the Land given to its people the Palestinians as a legitimate right from God. The United Nations and the majority of all nations of the world backed that in their UN Resolution 194. Isnt this Act you generously granted to Sharoon against the will of God, the Palestinians and the UN & its Nations?
We hope such Unjust and Unfair behavior towards Palestinian Refugees and Palestine will be morally reviewed by all Americans who live in democracy and believe in it as a right for all nations. Where is Humanity & Human Rights? Imagine such a grant to Israel cancels every single right for millions of Palestinian Refugees and their whole nation.

The Americans are never going to recognise the pain and the suffering that Palestinians have to endure daily. However, you must keep in mind that many people across the world stand by your struggle for freedom. I am one of the many Indians who have faith in your cause.Give this a thought:If the Berlin Wall was unjustified, how can the wall Israel is building be justified?I will forever pray for a day when people of all religions can live in peace and brotherhood in your great land.

Israel declared that they knew all along that Iraq had no weapon of mass-destruction, yet in the first few weeks of the war, they distributed Gas-Masks...
May be they thought it will look good on TV, or be good for their PR, or one of their discusting dirty tricks...
The Zionists are machiavelics and pure evil, i just hope that sooner than later their dark and ugly soul will self-destruct, wherever they might be (Palestine,US,israel, or Iraq...)
Meanwhile, May god bless the people and land of Palestine and Iraq, our faith goes hand in hand, and together we will stand and together we will live far beyond their pathetic and murderous Plans...
Keep hope my brothers and sisters, evil won't preveil for ever

Thank you for constructing such an exemplary site.I was looking for a presentation of facts without fanatical undertones. This site provides information with dignity and respect. The gallows humour is not lost on me,either.

Hopefully,I can find enough accurately documented historical facts to counteract all the lame arguments thrown at me by the right-wing fundamentalist red-necks on www.the-scream.co.uk

A masterpiece, well done. Our generation owes it to the world to make ammends for the crass stupidity and abuse of other nations by our forebears.

Thank You for a VERY comprehensive site. I am a teacher at a high school in South Africa and your
site is certainly the most educational and informative of all the sites i have searched thus
far.Is it however possible to add something that informs 'surfers' that the Palestinian struggle is not
only a Muslim/Arab struggle because many South Africans are under the impression that because all
Palestinians are arabs they are therefore Muslim and therefore the struggle is a Muslim struggle.

To those Zionists who desicrate this site with crude messages regarding the unlawful killing of Sheik Yassin - you should be aware that it isn't only the Palestinians and Arabs who hate you. I'm English, and like many, many other Europeans I can feel nothing but a deep loathing for the Jewish occuation, and the diaspora of Jewish filth that supports it.

Have a good laugh now - because the future isn't looking too good for you. Whenever the world grows weary of parasitic jewish manipulation, it has a good scratch - and shakes it off (ring any bells?) So when the money and support from America stops, who will protect you from the seeds of rage that you've been planting for the last fifty years? Not me.

My only fear is that unless we (all Arabs and especially Arab governments) **ACT NOW** against the zionist threat, there will be no Palestine left to talk about...it will only exist in photos, memories, and websites like yours. Let us all wake up and stop kidding ourselves...the Zionists intend to keep all of Palestine while the world looks the other way.

On the "Quiz yourself on Isrealli democracy"

You need to stipulate on the quote

"The U.S. funneled into the Israeli economy over 130 billion dollars, which is almost twice the amount devoted to rebuilding Western Europe after WW II!"

that all this aid occured after 1973 and the only aid america had given to isreal before this year was in 1948 by acknowledging the sovernighty of Isreal.

Thanks Daniel Burger for taking the time , I agree with you 100%, but I still donot understand why are we so reluctant thus far in claiming our independent prior to the 1967 borders, and form a Palestinian state. I think it is Legal in accordance with United Nation Charter. What are we waiting for?
Let us see then who is for it and who is against this idea.

Unless some one has a hidden agenda on our side not to make this happen for our Palestinian People. If this is so, then for God sake let them say something now.
Posted by Daniel Burger on FEBRUARY-17-2004 #5959

The reason for the Israelis rejecting the one-state solution is obvious....if they did that, then non-Jews(not just palestinians) would also be allowed to vote, to live in Jerusalem, and to hold high-ranking jobs. Thus the "Jewish State" would cease to exist, and would rather be replaced by a democratic republic, something that no right-wing Jew or American "could ever stomach"(quote from Larry King). Also, on average Palestinians have more children than Jews, thus years from now, the Palestinians would be a clear majority(like they were prior to very recently). Ultimately, in order to keep the state of "Israel" the way it is, things like democracy, equal rights, and lack of mass genocide can not be realised. Israel itself was created on a non-existent foundation...a totally Jewish state on stolen ground, in a densely populated area. In order to maintain the facade of "democracy" there must be a clear Jewish majority within the ever-changing "Israeli borders", and this is the reason for all the ethnic cleansing/genocide/land grabs etc. The way thigns are running now though, even with the current state, of priviledged Jewish majority, and oppressed Palestinian/gentile minority within "Israel" the birthrates indicate that non-Jews will be in the majority within a few decades. Thus Ariel "man of peace" Sharon has declared the "Palestinian state" which he wants to be various tiny fragments of land, where all non-Jews will be crammed into. If the one-state solution ever came about, "Yeretz Israel" would cease to exist and Sharon would likely be tried for war crimes. So Israel's existence and the the Likud/IDF/Jewish upper-class are mutually dependant. God bless America!!!!
Posted by Sufian Ammouneh on FEBRUARY-15-2004 #5912

Thanks Tamim for trying to shed some light on my two questions.
I still think a one state solutions with equal rights to every one, and with equal voting rights, and the right of return for ALL refuges, and lets see what happens when we have an election in the State of Israel, Majority does usually wins in a Democratic System/ society, Right ?
I keep on hearingthat the Israel is the only Democratic Country in the middleEast, lets see the proof.

I donot understand the consequences in declaring a Palestininan state Now.Why havenot we done so allready. Could some one enlighten me, Please.
Posted by Mutaz Tamim on FEBRUARY-14-2004 #5905

Input to Sufian,

If you think like a Zionist you find easily the answer for your question. They usually create a lie, such as the ؟Temple Mount؟, then make everyone believing it, and if not they will the force them to do that. Afterwards, they create the environment to start negotiation with the Palestinians. What ever they realize from the negotiation is become a gain, because at the end of the day it was just a lie. The same what happen in Iraq recently.

They will continue to do agreement after agreement with the Palestinians, but they will fulfill the conditions which benefit them and ignore the other items of the agreement.

You are right we should have declared the state of Palestine, when we have agreed to recognize Israel on Palestine؟48 without any tangible gain.

Posted by Sufian Ammouneh on FEBRUARY-13-2004 #5902

Greetings
Could some one explain to me what are the consequences if we declare a Palestinian state on the pre 1967 bordes, and take this to the united Nations for a final approval.
We donot have to wait for a negotiated settlements. After all the end result is the same.

If this is not possible, then why cannot we go for a one state Solution, with EQUAL rights, equal and fare elections, I have a feeling History is on our side. Why are the Israels against this idea, what are they afraid of, after all they are one of the super power countrys,.

I would appreciate any inputs.

Hello- this web site has been a real eye opener, especially the informtion on the Zionist terrorists who openly tried to get assisstance from the Nazi Germans and Fascist Italy during World War 2- as you stated, it`s really ironic that these people were sucking up to Hitler and his minions, at the very moment that they were trying to wipe Jews off the face of the earth. And blatantly trying to sabotage the Allies in Palestine, at a time when the Arabs and Palestinians as a whole, were giving the U.S. and Britain their complete support. And the picture of Jacobinski in the Itaian facist uniform, with the "Bersaglieri" insignia plainly visible - it`s very rare that you get the Palestinian side of things, unfortunately.Well, continue the enlightening work, maybe it`s just a matter of presenting your own viewpoint.

www.tikkun.org

This site is very informative and well-researched. Sadly, as long as the bigoted, right-wing element has power in the good ol' U S of A, it does not appear likely that peace and justice will be returned to Palestine. Here's hoping and praying that things will be resolved CORRECTLY(not some bullshit two-misproportianately-sized-states idea) in the very near future though. And to all ZIonists out there, by your own beliefs, you have booked rooms in Hell.

I have found the site informative and emotive. I was surprised that you had no map showing the line of the apartheid wall.

Asalam w'alaikum 2 all. It's been quite some time since i've visited, so i wanted 2 again add an entry. As a Canadian Palestinian it angers me to see the way the media covers the on going occupation in MY country. Yes MY country...Palestine. OUR land...Palestine. They make us out to be these evil, murderous people yet they don't show the real story. However I suppose it's wishful thinking that they would even consider telling or exposing the truth. Well my brothers and sisters as I have on many occasions mentioned...We must not give up. We must continue our struggle, "By any means necessary" I don't need to let you all know that it is a known FACT that Palestine WILL be returned to its rightful owners...US, the Palestinians. Many people here talk about peace. Peace??? What peace? That's a joke and you all know it. Again wishful thinking and need I remind you all that the chances of that are quite slim. Until of course... Yom il ayam. Please dont mistaken my forwardness for ignorance. I am merely speaking the truth. So until next time all, Allah ma'akum. Take care, be safe, and keep up the armed struggle. By the way here's a few words of wisdom and I hope you all will understand the meaning behind these words, if not feel free to ask me.
"I SAW A MARBLE AND BEGAN TO CHISEL AWAY AT IT...I DIDN'T STOP UNTIL I SET THE ANGEL FREE"
LONG LIVE FALASTEEN!!

If you, or someone you know, is interested in a broad, simple (not simplistic) overview of the Arab-Israeli conflict, may I recommend a very readable book entitled: ؟Arabs and Israel for Begineers؟ by Ron David, illustrated by Susan David. It؟s an extremely straight-forward and honest read. I bought it and let people who don؟t know all the facts borrow it. Get it, you won؟t regret it! Keep the faith! Believe in a whole Palestine, not 1967 borders! 1948!

Freedom, liberation, prosperity, independance, democarcy, citizenship, equality, hope, peace, wealth & joy is just some of what we Palestinians aspire. How easier can we possibly make it 4 everyone 2 understand. We deserve much better than what we have at present moment. Long live Palestine-that is an oath!!!

Hi as a palestinian citizen I would like 2 express my gratitude for this resourseful website. As a female palestnian citizen... I am also aware of the hardship & suffering Palestinian women undergo daily. Since women r just as equally affected in all of this as men... I congratulate those young Palestinain women who sacrifice their lives in da name of God for a just cause. It is what so many people in the western world consider suicide bombing but if only they knew we r not da terrorists. We r merely a people fighting for da return of our homeland and even not all of our homeland(but only 2 da borders 1967)yet still Israel demands we make more concessions. I hope this would encourage da Palestinian women worldwide and who r reading this 2 more actively participate in liberating our people from da prison they live in n speak out to those who are deaf and blind as 2 what is happening in Palestine. We r da only people in da world without a nation- a nation stolen from us. We do not mind to live with Jews but they should respect our right 2 enjoy da rights and priveleges any other citizen in da world enjoys such as da citizens of N. America...we want democracy and equality like those in America n those who believe in democracy not discrimination & oppression. <>

For an issue not to be forgotten, it has to be remembered. How can u ever remember the Palestinian issue without pain, love, hatred, relief, wish, trust, fear, or at least...to feel the irony. Usually, love is the thing that sustains us; here it is also pain and wish. The pain you feel every time you watch a house being demolished, every child being killed, every woman being raped, each and every time you see pain in front of you and you can not do anything. You can actually do three things...remind people of the pain, wish for a better future, and do both of these things.

God Bless Palestine.
The whole world will one day recognise our rights and not by peace but by war will may get Paleastine back. The history and the historians can brief all those interested of how the Zionist State was formed, and how they terrorised the Palestinian nation for over 50 years. Israel has been occupying the Palestinian land for more than half a century, and has always rejected and never complied with any UN Security Council resolution. The Israeli armed forces impose all kinds of suffering, agony, torture, persecution, distress, and misery among the Palestinian people, yet the world stands there watching and neglecting. The atrocities which are carried out by the Israeli government, is beyond belief, yet, the USA has always been a supporter of Israel and veto UN resolutions against Israel. The Zionist state destroys homes, rape virgin Palestinian land, invades the privacy of the innocent defenceless people, imprison men and women, torture imprisoned harmless people and kill unsullied children daily. There will be no peace until we get our land back.

What a fantastic informative site-well done-its absolutely brilliant. I am sure that through the efforts of many people such as yourselves, the real tragedy of the Palestinian people will become clearer to the world. I wish all honest people working for the Palestinian cause the very best, and may the good lord restore our homeland to us soon. May it be our final resting place, and may the land return to its rightful owners. Amen.

Thank you to all concerned for their efforts in maintaining this wonderful site. I cried today when I looked at the pictures of Tsfat (Safad), the town my grandparents left in 1948 to go into exile rather than accept Israeli citizenship. I can only imagine the pain that Palestinian refugees and exile must feel. Victory to the Palestinian People!

I hope that as Palestinians we can learn from our past experiences and make 2004 a better experience for us. Although we have been trough so much from oppression to losing homes and loved ones, and forced to live as refugees in our own homeland; a trial of the patience of our people, I only hope that more people can understand our daily sufferings and put themselves in our shoes and give us a hand in rebuilding our identity. So many only know what is conveyed to them in the media, a biased form of communication and not the real facts. We derseve protection from the injustices we are subjected to and to be able to enjoy our basic human rights that we are deprived of in our own home land.
Posted by Rick Thomas on JANUARY-7-2004 #5452

As an American citizen I must say that there are a few of us who know the truth of the injustices against the Palestinian people. The Zionists of 1880 never had any intention of sharing the land, even though there were 300,000 people there already. This is the root of the problem, Zionists ignoring those who already lived there. It is a fanatical religous problem which can only be solved with humanity.

I myself am a Palestinian who has never been there but thanks to this great website, I now know more about the great wonders of this beautiful country. My dream as is the dream of any other Palestinian to return to my homeland. Godwilling one day we will witness this dream and reclaim our legitimate rights, among them the right of return for all palestinian refugees. The fight 4 justice n freedom shall prevail :-)

i'd like to wish all palestinians inside and outside palestine and all syrians who've lost their rights in golan heights a HAPPY NEW YEAR!
people sometimes forget that syrians in the golan heights were also kicked out of their homes and never to return, like palestinians in 1947-48 (and even earlier), 1967, 1973, and of course, to this very day. my husband's grandmother just died this fall. she had refused to leave her house and land, but the israelis, with the help of the syrian druze population forced her evacuation in 1967. she never saw her house and land again. there are today app. 600,000 registered golan heights refugees. hopefully soon, our son will get his inheritance and he'll return to jabat iz-zeit (what the israelis now call it, i do not know!). I've seen pictures of the golan heights and i know i؟d feel like i were coming home as it looks so much like iceland, with its waterfalls, mountains, geothermal baths and volcanic landscape. insha 'Allah...
I've signed this guestbook twice before and i want the staff and those visitors who take the time to sign the guestbook (with a few exceptions!) that not one day goes by, without my rereading these letters. on days that i get sadden about the middle east situation, i always find solace and consolation in your site.
i became muslim on 4 june 2003 after reading the qur؟an and i must say the Qur'an also gives me peace. i hope this year makes people all over the world see the truth. peace to all palestinians, muslim and christian, and yes, even jew. there are some native jewish palestinians who just want peace in palestine and a united palestine.
oh, and for those of you that read what i wrote on 22-V-2003, from jaffa I'd love to go to mekka on Hajj. this would complete my personal dream!
I finish with: Allah makum.

What a beautiful effort and succesful website! I feel so proud and happy and I know that we will prevail in the end - with Palestinians like you people who keep the flame...

How I wish my parents are still alive to witness your efforts.
Here in Europe things are better than in the U.S. where the Americans are kept completely in the dark.
Bravo again - God bless you all whoever you are ...

Hi. my name is Paul. I live in Sydney Australia. I support the Palestinians and I wish them every happiness and success. I hope that all Palestinians will return to their homeland. It is a great shame for the modern jews to be trampling on Palestinians. All jews should return to their country of origin. One day the oppressors will taste their own medicine. the jews are a laughing stock. They have alienated all peace loving people by the billions.
I wish all Palestinians a prosperous new year in 2004.

Hi
My name is Mohamed i live in the united states , i really believe palestine is important land. Every palestinian or anti-zionist person should spread the truth about this horrible uccupation in palestine. 55 years of suffering and killing must be resist in order to live peace. U.S media has spread lies about israeli-palestinian conflict every section of the news always says "support for israel". Watching cnn ,fox and nbc always uses horrific lies about palestinians who are resisting calling them "terrorist". Iam not talking about militant , iam talking about protesters and also Arafat. The world should not keep silance about this bloodshade uccupation in palestine . Lets stand against the uccupation.
