My best friend and ex-husband is from Shefa-Amer Village, I stayed with him and his family back in 1979. Your web site is one of the most real and truthful I have seen. One day due to Homeland Security, your site and others will be considered terrorist propaganda. As an american, I am ashamed to be one and always have been. This is by far one of the best sites I've visted concerning the history of our occupied homeland Palestine. Im a palestinian living in Canada, my family and ancestors originated from Majdal (which is a large city currently known as Ashkelon)...and it seems the Zionist occupiers did a good job of ethnicly cleansing it in 1948, since it isn't on the site! In any case, I hope u guys put it on the site :)

A well researched and presented website. I am in Canada and there is much work to do to inform North Americans. Particularly in the U.S., poeple are not taught the history and origin of the conflict and that is the key to understanding it. I urge people to educate themselves, and not accept the simplistic media statements. Until there is justice for the Palestinians there will never be peace. Actually I have no idea who is Moshe dayan until I asked my mother when I was at the age of 15. She told me that my father gave my name because I was born on Sep. 27, 1981 and Moshe dayan died at Oct 16, 1981. I just searched Moshe Dayan's profile this very day. He's a history and a national figure. Im still how wonder about the history of my name. But I think it I'll give it a break.

An addition to the message already left earlier today.....this is a clearly-defined site and not
really somewhere to pick-up with lost friends. That said, I was 21 when I lived, worked alongside
the people of Sdot Yam. Many of these people I admired, respected. They, in their turn, had
suffered. I have been berated by many friends for supporting (just by being there) Israel. If I were

stance that the Gov. of the USA and my own Gov. in the UK is taking, has taken in Iraq. I am a Labour
Party activist who is heartily ashamed at the current political situation in my country. I was
against the war in Iraq and do not feel that we are any safer as a result of it. But like Pastor
Niemaer (again, spelling?!!) said, "how can I stand by whilst others suffer".......the situation

Congratulations on an excellent website. I am an Australian of English, Irish, German extraction. I am neither Jew nor Muslim - but I would like to see the information on this website made compulsory in all schools and university history departments throughout the world. Certain people have done a wonderful job of promoting Zionist views - to the exclusion of all others. Of course, huge amounts of money from American Jews controls the United States of America - their economy, education, politics and domestic/international propaganda. The same people send huge amounts of money to Israel and to other countries to support their cause and attack more moderate Israelis - and anyone else they see as being anti-Semitic or anti-Zionist. It is not widely known that Israel has nuclear-weapon capability - or that its plants are not examined by outside inspectors. Although I can understand the frustration of people who feel their only weapon is suicide bombings and "terrorism", I do not approve of this method of drawing world attention as I see it as being cruel and counter-productive to gaining world sympathy and understanding. Education and refuting the propaganda (as this website does) is the way to go. I wish everyone in the Middle East and the rest of the world peace and equality.

Hi! I am glad to have found this site and someday hope to be able to visit Palestine for myself. I have recently written to the Palestinian representative to the UN requesting the proper channels to be able to form a charitable organization that the US cannot call TERRORism.
I am an American born Canadian with two birthrights who believes that EVERYONE should have the right of return and that the UN should uphold their Charter of Human Rights all over the world.
I am also looking for a contact in Palestine so I may be able to continue educating myself more thoroughly. I am trying in my neighbourhood to teach the younger ones that we are all brothers and sisters and that the barriers of hatred need to be brought down.
Why does it seem like nobody gets the message? I found a Surah that I refer to as a reminder (Surah 103) I think it says it all.

I am an American citizen and I am 52 years old and it is only recently that I discovered, thanks to websites like this one, the truth about Israel. Thanks to a corrupt media in America, American citizens have been spoon-fed a great many lies about Isreal.

For many years I didn't know that Israel attacked first in 1948, 1956 and 1967 and that many Israeli leaders have since admitted this as well as how Isreal did not need to attack at all. They were not threatened in the first place.
Sound familiar to a recent situation with Iraq?

I have read about disception after disception by the Israeli government. Both the Israeli government and my own American government have lied viciously about the Palestinians and the entire middle eastern situation.

Find out about the attack of a U.S. ship the USS Liberty and the cover-up
about it and why. Find out about the extent of spying on the United States by Israel. Or find out about the enormous amouts of financial assistance given to Israel. Gigantic amounts of foriegn aid are just the beginning.

To get some education about the truth about the Israel-Palestinian conflict as well as American involvement some authors you can read include Professor Said and another is former Congressman Paul Findley who has written such books as Deliberate Deceptions, facing the facts
about the U.S. - Israel relationship and They Dare to Speak Out.


Write and call your elected representatives and tell them what you learn about Israel. Voice you opposition to the Isreali government's policies.
We cannot permit any accusations of anti-semitism to stop Americans from acting. The fear of this has the effect of paralyzing action against injustices.

The Palestinian people are a brave and courageous people who have fought alone for too many years. Each and every one of the Palestinian people deserve our deepest respect and admiration.

Friends, I have read only a portion of the material on your web site, but I can see that it contains a wealth of worthwhile information. I am Jewish, American, a member of a synagogue where some members [although they may not know all the facts] know that Israel has and continues to perpetrate injustice against the Palestinian people. [In fact the link to your web site was given to me by an Israeli Jewish contact.] Last year I visited the West Bank with the Israeli organization Rabbis for Human Rights [you may be familiar with them, I believe they are respected in the Palestinian community], planted olive trees on Palestinian land to replace some of those destroyed by Israelis, and learned about the situation firsthand. I am very close with other members of my congregation, and I try gently to communicate the facts to them and to other Jews I know; your excellent web site will help me in doing this. At a recent service we had as my guests two Palestinian women, one of whose brother was killed in the West Bank only a few months ago. I was brought up with traditional, centuries-old Jewish values of concern for justice and respect and fair treatment for all people -- values which Israel has violated and is violating. Israel and the US must accept the two-state solution based on the 1967 borders. Israel must publicly acknowledge the injustices it has committed through its history and teach the full story to its children, and also change the system which discriminates against non-Jews in Israel. Hello all. I just wanted to alert people here to an online petition they might like to sign. The petition, available at www.petitiononline.com/racism/petition.html, calls for newspapers to terminate publication of editorials by Cal Thomas. For those unfamiliar with Thomas, he is a widely syndicated opinion columnist who frequently writes derogatory anti-Arab hate speech, such as a recent column in which he called all Arabs "Hitler's disciples." In another column, Thomas warned readers of Muslims organizing voter drives who would eventually overtake American democracy with sheer numbers and destroy it(the piece was titled "Are Muslims invading the U.S?" in my newspaper). That kind of small minded bigotry is unfit for publication. Certainly no editor would publish a piece titled "Are Jews invading the U.S?" or "Are Blacks invading the U.S?"
A few people, while agreeing that Thomas is a racist bigot, have questioned the petition on free speech grounds. But the way I see it, Thomas' right to free speech is not being challenged; everyone has the right to speak his mind, but everyone does not have the right to a syndicated newspaper column. That right is reserved for people who possess journalistic integrity. Newspapers should publish as many diverse opinions as possible, but Thomas' writing doesn't really qualify as valid opinion, it is just inflammatory incitement to racism, devoid of fact or logic. So please sign the petition to make a statement against Thomas' bigotry.
