Great website. I am behind Palestine all the way. But I do not think that suicide bombings are the answer you guys should keep fighting till you win although I hope you guys dont hate me for signing this book because I am American. I don't like what is going on. Suicide bombing is not the answer.
There has to be a more effective and acceptable way for you to make your point and be heard.
You deserve justice, plain and simple. You should demand more Arab unit to support your pligh.
I do my best to disseminate your message, and listen to what you have to say. I am on your side,
and I do not approve violence much less revenge either. Unjustices disgust me.
Nobody deserves this and it needs to end for the sake of all.

I am very glad there is a site like this out there. I am not a Palestinian - I'm a Zoroastrian Iranian-American - and both groups have received the same kind of treatment. At the University of Tehran, you're REQUIRED to take a course in Islam to graduate. Basically in Iran, anyone not Muslim is considered to be lesser, even though the Zoroastrians were the one religious group in Iran before the Islamic Empire, and then Zoroastrians were either converted by force, killed, or fled to places like India. So now our numbers are much smaller in Iran - or really, in the world in general - than before we were driven out, like with the Palestinians.

This site really opened my eyes. Living in the United States, I get mostly Israel's side of the story, but I'm glad I've finally heard both sides. My proposal is to make one secular state - neither Jewish nor Muslim - not an Israel and Palestine side by side. Both nations will inevitably fight each other later for more land and about irrigation and so on. The reason I distrust one Palestinian state is that because of the recent atrocities fueled by Israel against the Palestinian people, more and more Palestinians are siding with the "hardliners" - that is, people that believe, not only in a Palestinian state, but a MUSLIM state. This would totally backfire and then alienate the Jews living in this Muslim state, and the difference is that the Jews have an entire World War to refer to, so then they, if they tried hard enough, can make World War III transpire sooner than we prefer. My firm belief remains in religion and state being always separate, for humanity's sake, and that goes for Jews, Christians, Muslims, and really - anyone.

To every one reading this guest book and who has any interest in understanding of the inner workings of pro - israeli's minds. I ask you to do this:

Go to jerusalem post, or any other pro - israely post and read on. Read the hatred and poison those people spill in their posts.

Remarks such as "we should drive them to the sea" and "They are very lucky to stay on whatever land they have" and "terror will only stop by kicking them out of our land", or even "we shall have all of historical palestine from those arab camel fu**" are incredibly common around there infact they constitute a majority of the posts.

Sites like ( massada2000.com ) clearly demonstrate how zionists are still willing to use the old "dehumanising" and "deculturizing techniques" against everything arabic and islamic in order to acheive their aims of land confiscation and ethnic cleansing. When i even tried to write to write to some webmasters of pro - zionist sites, i was either ignored completely or insulted very harshly and called "a sub - human, an anti - semite, a nigger and sometimes even a camel fu**er) what's it with camels and zionists any way.

Therefore the "peacefull mentality" of the zionist depicted in western media cedes when you actualy talk to zionists one on one.

Remarkable Site,

The webmaster of palestine remembered has done an incredible job rebuting every hypocritical and double standarded claim by zionist and pro - zionist politicians, and not only that, but every single argument is well reinforced by quotes from pro - israely books and articles. Talk about using their words against them.

I can only criticize one thing. I think the people behind "palestine remember" are wasting much of their time and tallent on focusing on a single site. I think you should start some sort of an internet community of pro - palestinian web masters with the goal of spreading out the truth against the neuseating, baseless and unbelievably convincing to most americans.

I think you'll agree with me telling you that finding valid and informative pro - palestenian sites is rather difficult, as compared to the millions of zionist lie pages every where all over the net. After all,most people (normaly) judge information by its extent of circulation and the number of sources advocating it.

I have long studied the history of the Middle East, trying to disengage myself from the pro-Israel bias that infiltrates the American media in all forms--news, movies, television, etc. But this website contains fascinating information, and what's more, it is all documented. I was raised Jewish but converted to Christianity when I was 18. My parents and the Jews in my neighborhood were among the most bigoted and narrow minded people I have ever met, and they turned me off to Judiasm, even though it isn't right to blame the religion. However, my animosity also ran towards Israel, as I felt that something just wasn't right in the information that I received about it--that there had to be more to the story than the movie "Exodus!" My feelings towards Israel served to further alienate me from my peers, who possessed a blind love and devotion to Israel--even more so than to their own country. At any rate, I am glad for your website and I will share it with anyone I think may be remotely interested.

I hope you will never give up hope for the future. What I am most afraid of having been an overseas development consultant before retirement, is the attempts to obliterate the Palestinian nation by the dstruction and dismantlement of all essential civil administrative offices and records, together with the history, culture and art of the people. In the West we seem to stand by and watch with seemingly no conscience or understanding of the morality of justice. My heart hurts because of all the violence and senseless loss of life in the land called Israel. I do not agree with my country and their policies in that region. President Bush needs to put an end to this nightmare. I feel that if he took a harder stand with Sharon then maybe the Palestinians would be heard and then change could occur. If my country truly believes that "..all men are created equal; that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable rights; that among these are life,liberty,and the pursuit of happiness." Then as a nation we need stand by those words in regard to ALL people.

What we are witnessing today is not occupation, but Civil War between two separate peoples who have legitimate claims to a single patch of land.

Justice cannot be achieved by shedding the blood of innocent residents, or by attempts to undo or rewrite history. War is war, and human experience shows that there is no suitable compensation for its losers or its victors. Justice will be achieved only by mutual acceptance and recognition of the rights of both peoples to live and prosper in the land. The end of this Civil War will come through negotiation, when the people of this battered land begin to value the future instead of the past.

May our leaders conspire to provide our children with the fruits of peace, not the spoils of war.

I'm a white Dutch atheist student and I sympathise with the Palestiane cause. I simply can not grasp why the Jews who were terrorised for centuries and especially in world war 2 are doing horrible things another people; the Palestians!

Personally I boycott Isreal and American products (except for organical foods) and I wish we would all do that! DON'T WORK for them; rather life modest and simply then to support THEIR economy ... they are using you as slaves! DON'T BUY their products too!

Helen Epstein's piece on Mozambique tells of a state of affairs just as awful. The fundamental problem, she discovers, is that: "These people are so poor ... that sex has become part of their economy. In some cases, it's practically the only currency they have." What a world! You can only read a certain amount of this stuff before you start to avert your eyes. What on earth can anyone hope to do about all this? All the simple explanations for the horrors that stain a large part of our planet have been used up. We now know that it's not the fault of colonialism, or neo-colonialism, or capitalism, or socialism. It's just the way these places are. They can't handle modernity, for some cultural reason we don't understand and can't do anything about.
That's the context in which I see the Palestinians. The Palestinians are Arabs; and the Arabs, whatever their medieval achievements (as best I can understand, they were mainly achievements of transmission ؟ "Arabic" numerals, for example, came from India) are politically hopeless. Who can dispute this? Look at the last 50-odd years, since the colonial powers left. What have the Arabs accomplished? What have they built? Where in the Arab world is there a trace or a spark of democracy? Of constitutionalism? Of laws independent of the ruler's whim? Of free inquiry? Of open public debate? Where in your house is there any article stamped "Made in Syria?"

Last week I saw a film about Palestine that was presented by a local chapter of the Muslim Public Affairs Council. I already knew what I was going to see. I could never rationally condone violence but every time I see those images of Israeli soldiers beating an innocent man or settlers physically molesting muslim women I feel so much anger at what almost everyone around me thinks, "if the Arabs would stop shooting there would be peace in the Middle East." And I sit here nice and comfortable in America. How can it be for the average Palestinian? I say I cannot condone violence, but how can I say for sure? If soldiers came into my house and took my father and shot my brother and defecated and urinated everywhere and stole everything then drove a bulldozer through it--how can anyone remain rational in such circumstances? The "Jew only" roads and hours at the checkpoints and lush settlements stealing your water while crazy settlers read the Tora and point thier fingers at the victims, screaming terrorist! I just don't know what I would do. How have the Palestinian people survived? What a testament to the Palestinian people, that they have resisted expropriation and ethnic cleansing for ONE HUNDRED YEARS, against a political and military juggernaut state bent on their destruction.

The future generations of America will look back on what we are doing to innocent people (not just Palestinians either)and they will hang thier heads in shame.

I'm an Australian who until less than a year ago didn't take much notice of what was going on in the Middle East and I swallowed the image put out by the media of Palestinians being terrorists and aggressors and Israel being the vunherable and innocent victim. It didn't take too much digging for me to find out I was being fed a lie, and now I'm much wiser on the issue and know of the history involved. I also noticed over time that attempts by people to fill the pro-israeli people in on the facts are always met with accusations of anti-semitism and no attempt to refute the truth. I hope someday the Palestinians do get their homes back and the Israeli oppression will end...

Hello!
I found your site quite recently and it has given me a lot of links to information. It is very important that everything is possible to be confirmed as I am trying to spread the truth in Sweden. Even if many Swedes have found out the real truth about Israel´s criminal behaviour there is still a lot to do to convince our government, which is very obedient to the USA.

When I try to discuss in Jerusalem Post I only recieve letters with hate and insults, mostly from american jews. They seem to be worse than the israelians! Being critical of what Israel is doing is immediately call "anti-semitic."

For far too long, the United States has pretended to stand on the sidelines of a conflict in which it is not neutral, passively endorsing a situation in which bottled-up Palestinian rage has grown until it has exploded in a terrible paroxysm of violence. America is virtually undistinguishable from Israel. Israel is the recipient of U.S. foreign aid, receiving $2 billion annually in military aid. The jets that fire missiles into Palestinian buildings, the tanks and helicopter gunships that enforce Israel control of the occupied territories in the West Bank, might as well have big pictures of Uncle Sam painted on the side. Only the U.S. has the power to broker a deal that will provide lasting peace in the region. The U.S. must pressure Israel to take the concrete steps necessary to provide justice for the Palestinian people. Until then, the United States of America has no right to pride itself on being a "peace-maker".

This is a site with loads of excellent resources I truly had not come across before...the maps are really something.
I have been following the events in Palestine since 1991, and have moved from a pro-Israeli position to a pro-Palestinian position, after understanding what went on 50 odd years ago and before. As an international analyst I have drawn my own conclusions about the issue. Now I know that how Britain and the UN went about the question of Palestine was a big mistake.
In my country, Costa Rica, most people are ignorant of the truth, all our media depict Palestinians as terrorists, and whoever tries to revert this is usually heavily criticised.
I would really like to "spread the word", and have started talking to people about the truth of the conflict.
My dream is to see an Arab state in Palestine soon. When that day comes, I will be one of the happiest people on earth. And I'm sure that day will indeed come.

I am a Canadian... engaged to a Palestinian refugee from Jordan. I must say that I am very sick and tired of the news I hear calling the Palestinians terrorists. Terrorism is what the Zionists have been doing for 56 years. This must stop. They are all scrambling and meeting and brain storming to find a solution to the Israeli/Palestinian problem. The PROBLEM started with the British giving away land that they were only holding in trust. The PROBLEM escalated when the Zionists decided that half a country wasn't enough and took over the rest by force.

They are NOT the Jews who were enslaved and tortured before the liberation by the Allied forces... they were a group formed before Adolf Hitler was even born. Many people believe the Haulocaust was a joke and a lie. I have met Jewish people with the tatoos... it did happen. But, if the victims of Adolf Hitlers gas chambers could see Sharon and his butchers they would be ashamed of him. For the sotry sounds and IS the same. This is an extermination. And the governments that remain nuetral or support Israel are as guilty as those who aided and supported the Nazi's. The world must band together and rid the world of such hatred and murderous deceit. If this means war than that is what will happen. My sons' feet will never feel the shores of Akka under them...and my father-in-law will die a refugee...but, I will leave my mark everywhere I can until someday at sometime the White people of this world start thinking about more than themselves and start looking at what is really happening.

Frankly I choose to stand with honor and truth... on judgement day the line will be shorter than any one can imagine the way the world is going. Sharon and his Zionists better hope and pray that Allah doesn't end it tomorrow or Malik will become their new best friend!

Assuming one believes in God and The Day of Resurrection and Heaven and Hell then we should not be surprised at what is going on in the world today. As a Muslim from Palestine I am equally concerned with Muslims all over the world suffering at the hands of infidels. This is an excellent website to explain the Palestinian cause. I am a Palestinian, although I was born and live in America. I believe that we must make America aware of what is going on in Palestine and how the land is our land and not the Israelis'. In order to do this, we must inform the public about the history of Palestine leading up to 1948, not just after the 1967 war. If they are aware of the true intentions of Zionism and how the jews were offered a homeland by the British in Uganda but rejected it and how Israeli terrorism prior to 1948 won in taking over Palestine, they will understand why we are fighting. They must also realize that the American support of Israel is supporting just what the colonists did to the Native Americans. America has said they will never do what they did to the Native Americans ever again, yet they continue to do so in their support of the Zionist state.

I will be frank. I am an American Zionist, I love Israel for all it's flaws, and will one day immigrante and do my utmost-give my life, money, and skills to make sure that it survives in some form as Jewish state. This means that to many of you, I am an hated enemy and target for death if necessary. However, reading this I see that there is an equal and opposite passion of Palestinians for both the land and for self-determination. Remember, Zionists and Palestinians both have their collective mythologies. Of course this site has it's own spin, but I think it is a valuble resource for many hard, tangible facts of recent history. I am a Palestinian woman that lives in the U.S. now, but I witnessed when the jews entered my beloved Palestine in '67. Many of my neighbors fled to Jordan and lost a lot of their positions. My mother refused to leave our home and said if we must die we will die in our home but leaving was never an option.
All you see on CNN is lies and one sided biased news about what goes on in Palestine. They are trying to do a coverup of what happened in Jenin while our leaders turn a blind eye and a deaf ear as well.
