42. The Revisionists are an extreme right wing party, aiming at the early establishment of Palestine on both sides of the Jordan as a Jewish State on nationalist principles. It is in opposition to the world Zionist movement as represented by the• Zionist Organisation and Congress, from which it seceded in 1935 to form its own world organization which it calls the New Zionist Organization. It condemns the approach to politics of Dr. Weizmann and the Zionist majority to which it attributes reverses to Zionist policy in the past two decades. It is distinguished from the Revisionists mainly by its participation in the world Zionist movement and the world Zionist Congress, the majority rule of which it accepts. The headquarters of the party are in Jerusalem; party organisations exist in the U.S.A., South Africa, and Great Britain. At the last elections to the Elected Assembly the party polled l,'[07 votes, or less than 1 % of the total.
D. The Communist Party.
44. Since its inception the Palestine Communist Party has been opposed to Zionism; it has never attained any appreciable strength. Until the abolition of the Communist International it combined Arab and Jewish members; when all communist parties were reconstituted on national lines, the Palestine Communist Party established separate organisations for its activities among Jews and Arabs.
