Adding to the comment I posted below, and correcting some of the info. I was told that Al-Ma'mounia School was also called Al-Markaziah. Al-Bakriyah School is inside the Old City at the Via Dolorosa, between Bab Hutta (Bab Hitta) and Bab Faisal.
Some of the schools that Mr. Budeiri mentioned in the interview has different names now. Al-Ma'mounia School inside Bab Al-Sahira is Al-Qadissiah today. Todays Al-Ma'mouniah building (built about 1937) is outside Bab Al-Sahira by the Ritz Hotel. Al-Bakriyah School is in Salaheddin Street next to what was Cinema Al-Hamara, across from the Justice Ministry now. Al-Markaziah name is not used now.

Correction: Wadi El-Joz Quarter is northeast of the Old City and not northwest.
