Jerusalem – the house of Andoni Baramki who built this house to be dedicated to his lovely wife Evelyn, Andoni was a prominent Jerusalemite architect; he built his house in the year 1932. The couple lived in this beautiful house until the War of 1948…The location of the house became a border area between The eastern part of the city under the Jordanian rule and the Israeli Western side under the Israeli Rule, it was located next to Mandelbaum Gate, so the building was confiscated under the Absentee Law in the year 1950 and became an Israeli military outpost. After the Six Days War, the owner of the house demanded his property from the Israeli authorities but his request had been denied. In the year 1999, An Israeli foundation transformed the house into a museum to be called (Museum on the Seam)
