Across from these two buildings there were also buildings that have stores on their main street level, and offices in their upper level. One of these buildings contained the offices of the Arab Bank. After 1948 the City of Jerusalem converted the place to a bus station and a car parking lot. Today another structure is built on the site of the Arab Bank Building with a different identity, as we see in some of the photos. By the way the photographer Eric Matson took photos of the place before 1948.
