Jerusalem – The Hishmeh family in front of their house in 1930’s - The neighborhood of Talbiyyeh was built on lands belonging to the Greek Orthodox Patriarchate by the Lebanese origin Contractor Constantine Salameh in 1920’s and 1930’s for the well-established Christian families who lived in the Old City. During the Arab Israeli War in 1948, the neighborhood was attacked by the Hagana forces which caused the running away of the neighborhood residents with their families for better secured areas. After the war, their houses been confiscated by the” Custodian For Absentees Properties.”

القدس – عائلة حشمه امام منزلهم في حي الطالبيه في ثلاثينيات القرن الماضي - بني حي الطالبيه في عشرينيات وثلاثينيات القرن الماضي من قبل المستثمر اللبناني الاصل قسطنطين سلامه على اراضي تابعة لبطريركية الروم الارثودكس لعائلات مسيحيه ميسورة الحال وخلال الحرب العربيه الاسرائيليه في العام 1948 تم مهاجمة الحي من قبل قوات الهاغانا مما ادى الى نزوح قسري لسكان الحي بالاضافه الى الاحياء العربيه المجاوره كحي القطمون و حي البقعه هربا من ويلات الحرب حيث تعذرت عودتهم ثانية و تم مصادرتها من قبل حارس املاك الغائبين.
