Imagine this is happening to you?
I grow up in a village and I know so much about the significance of olive tree for the villagers. I also know that it takes at least 5-7 yrs for the olive tree to grow and begin giving produce. I also know that October is the month of picking season of olive produce.
Well, for Palestinians olive tree is a matter of identity and honor. The picture here shows many uprooted (40) olive trees by Israeli settlers in the village of Ras Karkar near Ramallah. Settlers in the West Bank often wait to the month of October, when it is time to pick up the olive, and arrive with their gangs and uproot the olive fields of Palestinian villagers.
The question is until when Palestinians have to tolerate this injustice? Imagine this is happening to you, how you will react? Will you tolerate this injustice????
