NPR recently aired what is arguably one of the most egregious examples of Hasbara (pro-Israel propaganda), even surpassing Israeli media in its blatant bias. The segment focused on a February 20, 2026, incident where Israeli colonial settlers attacked the village of Mikhmas, northeast of Jerusalem. This attack tragically resulted in the murder of a Palestinian man who was also an American citizen.
The public network compounded this tragedy, which it characterized as a random killing, by describing the settlers' theft of Palestinian livestock as "taking." To be clear, NPR: "taking" implies ownership; the appropriate terms for seizing what belongs to others are looting, stealing, plundering, or robbing. We suppose that citing the truth has become )))antisemitic(((. You have to hear it to believe it:
