North Asira Municipality worked on schools' development following different procedures. In the early 1930's education moved from general knowledge in the mosque or the public yards to establish (1-4) elementary learning, which reached (7) grade in 19940's when the first basic school was established .This lasted till (1952). In 1960's & 1970's secondary learning was obtained, two schools were on, an elementary & a preparatory- secondary one. The Girls' school was established in 1950 for co- education, in 1974 it became completely feminine. Three schools were available, they are: 1-North Asira Basic Boys' School (750 Pupils). 2-North Asira Secondary Boys' School (350 Students), scientific and literary streams. 3-North Asira Secondary Girls' School(950 Students). North Asira Municipality pay attention to schools , provide facilities to promote learning status . It is worth to note that many of Asira inhabitants are certificate holders of different specializations. The eager to learn is not committed to males only, females seek all kinds of learning as though.
