Both my Grand Father, Ismael Abdul Noor( Station Master at Haifa Rail Station) and my Uncle Saleh Bushnaq worked there before 1948.The former left to Amman, the latter to Al Khalil ( Hebron)then later to Amman. Both lived in Haifa then moved to Balad Ash Sheikh after threats that the Baghdad-Haifa pipeline will be hit by the Germans during World War 2.
