Bayt Dajan - بيت دجن: The Golden Spindle |
Lubna Salame & the Nazareth Orchestra, Uri Z. The Golden Spindle was a weaving factory of the Jaffa resident Ahmad Abu Laban, until 1948. After the fall of Palestine the place was used as an IDF base (Masha 7100) and then deserted in the early 2000s. This is a visit to what remained. The factory is in Beit Dajan, opposite the police fort. |
