This olive factory belongs to the Joudeh family. It was the largest in the region at the time. Mustafa Joudeh's father, Shaikh Mahmoud Joudeh, purchased in the early 1900's and operated it with the help of his six sons, until Saleh Mustafa Joudeh purchased it from his other brothers and ran it until he and his family were forced out by the Zionists in 1948. The descendants of Hajj Saleh Joudeh live scattered between the States, and the Arab world.
