Zionist FAQs: David Ben-Gurion on the importance of the Deir Yassin Massacre on the creation of Israel as a democratic "Jewish state"

In April 1949, Israeli Prime Minister David Ben-Gurion said in a speech to the Knesset:

“A Jewish state without Deir Yassin throughout the country can only be in a dictatorship of the minority." (Haaretz, April 1st, 2026, here is an image grab)

In other words, the only way to establish a Jewish & Democratic state in Palestine was to massacre lots of Palestinians. There you have it in a single citation. That is exactly how the 90% of citizens were reduced to under 15% after the war of Nakba. Only Nazis and their ilk would approve of such a democracy:
