The museum opened to the public on January 13, 1938. Officially, it was called the Palestine Archaeological Museum, but was also known as the Rockefeller Museum.
من خارج باب الساهرة في القدس ,ونشاهد مبنى المدرسة الراشديه
وفي الخلف متحف الاثار الفلسطيني
Behind the trees on the left is Al-Rashidiyyeh School. It was built about 1916. The Palestine Museum was built about 1925. The Mount Scopus appears in the background and I think the building on the top is the Hebrew University on Mount Scopus. It looks the photo was taken from the top of Jerusalem's Old City wall at Bab Al-Sahira ("Herod's Gate")
