Hi
My name is Hassan Alrogeibey and I work in the UK as a doctor. My origin is from Nuqeib Village on the south east of Tiberias Lake. My family Alrogeibat Arab tribe became refugees twice. The first when part of their land was stolen to build Ein Gev settlement. The second was after the 1967 war to Jordan and then to the Yarmouk Camp in Damascus.
I left my village when I was 12 years old.I can't remember when the time I learnt how to swim, because I found my self natually a swimmer. I became later the champion of secondary schools of damascus in 100 free-style.
The most beautiful memories I have ever had are from my village and tiberias lake. I still remember the colours of the most wonderful and beautiful spring on earth, the mighty mountains around the lake and on one of which Safad city lights at night, and the time used to enjoy fishing Almushtt( St.Peter's fish) delicious fish. I still have nice memories about the places of my childhood and I am willing to give up medicin to go back to grow tomato like what my family used to do as farmers.
It is my life dream ? will it come through one day.
Thank you for your effort in keeping evrything relevant alive, and if you need more information, please contact me on my email address.
Hassan
