It should be NOTED that this infamous hearing at the US House of Representatives took place when the last million were STILL alive in Europe (between Feb. 8th and 16th, 1944). Also, please NOTE how the vast majority of American Jews (Zionists and non-Zionists alike) rarely called for the US to open its doors to persecuted European refugees. On the other hand, as you see below on page 242, the Gentile Professor Philip Hitti of Princeton (one of the most renowned scholars on the Middle East) was ONLY one of the few to call on US lawmakers to open their doors to Europe instead of sending them to a place where they are not welcomed. Please pay attention to how the session was chaired by an American Jew, Sol Bloom, who was the chairman of the US Committee on Foreign Affairs during /WWII. Wikipedia detailed how Mr. Bloom worked hand over fist to frustrate any rescue efforts of Europe's Jews EXCEPT for Palestine. It seems some group of people went out of their way to implement David Ben-Gurion's LEVER in the process of building the Jewish state:

Pay attention to how Rabbi Stephen S. Wise bragged that the American Jewish Conference represented most Americans, and how Senator Sol Bloom (who is Jewish representing the state of New York) pointed out that thousands of telegrams were sent in support of this resolution. Keep in mind this happened when that last two million were still alive in the death camps; American Jewry and Zionists were ONLY focused on Palestine as the destination for Europe's Jews. In practice, that left Europe's Jews with two options: Palestine or Auschwitz. Mazeltov dear Jews on your wonderful gift to humanity:
