Haavara FAQs: Ben-Gurion: The Burning Ground, Chapter 44: Disaster Means Strength by Shabtai Teveth
|
As you read Mr. Teveth's last chapter in The Burning Ground, please keep in mind that it contains many gaslights (in Israel that is called Hasbarah). Although Shabti painted Ben-Gurion in a better light than he deserved, still, what Mr. Teveth disclosed was deeply incriminating once you read the whole chapter with an open mind (for God's sake, the name of the book and this chapter's tile are very telling). To give a better context, we have included our notes just before each page to de-Hasbarah what Shabti has written. After you fully read this chapter, it will be VERY HARD not to recognize that Jewish plight was weaponized as the LEVER (using Ben-Gurion's sinister terminology as you shall see below) in the process of creating the "Jewish state."

As you contemplate what Rabbi Stephen Wise wrote below, keep in mind that Mr. Teveth kept repeating that Zionist leaders (especially Ben-Gurion) didn't recognize that the destruction of European Jewry was happening until it was late in the game. It should be noted that what Wise wrote was repeated by Weizmann in 1938 and 1942; everyone knew what Hitler was capable of even before Hitler knew it! When you examine how American Jewry behaved in the American Jewish Conference in Sept. 1943, you will know that gassing Jews was an open secret at the time; Abba Hillel Silver was against bombing the gas chambers as late as Oct. 1943:

Note how David Ben-Gurion cleaned his hands from concerns about rescuing Europe's Jews and delegated that to the Rescue Committee headed by notorious antisemites (e.g., Yitzhak Gruenbaum) who rarely met to discuss rescue and most importantly they were given little budget to work with. On the other hand, he would object and obstruct if any rescue funds were directed to schemes that would have saved Jews in places other than Palestine. Notice how also in the 2nd half of the page how Ben-Gurion knew well how Hitler was dangerous as of 1935. As if he knew what Hitler would do before he did it. As you digest what he said, please keep in mind that Hitler kept Europe's doors opened until late 1941:

Pay attention to how Ben-Gurion used the word LEVER below and in what context it was used (i.e. after Nuremberg Laws were enacted in Sept. 1935):

Note in the 2nd paragraph how Ben-Gurion envisioned "transferring of Arabs" (a.k.a ethnic cleansing) was a THE solution when the war end. Arabs have many empty countries; they can take care of Palestinians. It should bet noted that this fascist way of think hasn't stopped to this date and majority of Israelis Jews STILL believe this is the best way for "peace":

Please pay attention to how the "Ministry of Truth" created a kind of a "newspeak language" where words such as rescue started to have negative connotations. How such newspeak not explain why little was spent on rescuing Europe's Jews during WWII?:
-
Please pay attention to Teveth's gaslight with regard to Evian Conference when he forgot to mention that Zionists lobbied with tooth and nail against any safe haven except for Palestine. To present Ben-Gurion in a better light, Teveth cited that David Ben-Gurion wouldn't objected to Polish Jewish migration to America and Argentina, but the doors are are close. As Tom Segev described as more like newspaper talk because if David and the Jewish Agency Executive (JAE) were serious, they would had lobbied for such scheme. On top of that when the JA's budget was examined, you will see how 7/8th of the rescue budget was divert for building the state during WWII. It should be NOTED also that this evil policy persisted even after WWII ended in the DP camps::
