Haavara FAQs: What if the six million were saved, how saving European Jewry could have impacted the Zionist project?

NYTimes July 3 1938 Evian Conf CartoonEvian Conference, July 1938
Based on Israeli and Zionist sources PLUS the NY Times

A Brief Introduction

Often, the mainstream media and most Holocaust historians portrayed the Evian Conference as a failure, and painted Palestine as the only available and viable country for those Jewish refugees. After examining the facts from several angles, we found that these findings could not be further from the truth, and this narrative was framed as such way after WWII ended to fit the Zionist narrative. Nevertheless, when the records were examined (especially before WWII was underway), events were framed entirely differently. Sadly, many of the so-called Holocaust historians judged Evian from the prism of decades after the calamity and portrayed Palestine as the only available and viable country for Jewish refugees. As we shall prove soon, this conclusion isn't tethered to reality whatsoever for a simple fact: much of the German and Austrian Jewry survived the Holocaust because they managed to leave before Hitler closed Europe's exists in late 1941. On the other hand, other Jewish communities (especially in Poland, Hungary, Ukraine, Netherlands, Lithuania and Belarus) were decimated! Ironically, those so-called historians fell into the fallacy of judging past events from the prism of the present, which is the first thing historians are taught not to do while judging and framing the past!

NYTimes 1982 Barmoda Conf 1944 NY Times Magazine, April 18, 1982: Zionist leaders admitted there wasn't enough bandwidth to fight the White Paper of 1939 and Hitler. Thus, fighting the Nazis was left to the Gentiles so they could focus on defeating the White Paper.

Thus, to frame the events rationally, the Evian Conference (which happened 15 months before WWII) must be considered as if the Holocaust plus the events of WWII didn't happen.

Not in Hitler's defense, but it seems he was genuinely trying to avoid being pushed into the genocide option, and that explains why the Final Solution was named as such. It is a fact that the Final Solution wasn't in the picture until February to May 1942, Hitler kept Europe's doors open for Jews to leave until late 1941, and he even contemplated Madagascar as a home for the Jews as late as September 1940. Love it hate it; those are unpleasant facts. That said, that does not imply the Nazis weren't responsible; that is not what we are implying. On the other hand, as we shall prove soon, the Nazis had many enablers; and many of those enablers were Jews; stay tuned.

How many of the German and Austrian Jewry were saved before the Holocaust?

Herzl Died Thinking Israel Would Have Been in Uganda, not in "empty" Palestine.

When the numbers of pledges by 32 countries that attended the Evian Conference are tallied (i.e., pledges from Dominican Republic, British Guiana, GB, USA, Mandano-Philippines, Brazil, Rodisia, British & Portuguese African colonies, former African German colonies, Columbia, Bolivia, and Peru), we quickly found that over 80% of the German and Austrian Jewry would have been saved within four to five years (the envisioned timeline at Evian) and by any measure that would have been a success, right? Well, guess what? Not only is the answer a BIG YES, but also that was almost what happened, and most importantly, the majority of German and Austrian Jewry weren't saved in Palestine or due to Zionist efforts! In other words, Austrian and German Jewry were the luckiest; the poor and elderly stayed behind.

Right arrow free icon Can you allow this fact to sink in for a minute: neither the Haavara Agreement nor Palestine played any role in saving the mass majority of German and Austrian Jewry! It is a fact that under 10% of them immigrated to Palestine, and most importantly, the vast majority of them could have been saved with or without the Haavara Agreement (see how Yehuda Baur framed it in Jews For Sale?, p. 17). Ironically, when primary sources are examined, we found that the vast majority of those who immigrated to Palestine from Germany and Austria were either saved due to British affirmative action (who favored German Jews over other Jews) or due to using their monies (via the Capitalist Immigration Certificates) and in either case cases, Zionists played no rule in saving them!

Hitler's Message To The West: If Jews are such noble citizens and you care about them, how come you're not letting them in?

What if the six million were saved?

Now, let us contemplate this viable scenario: what if the same thing happened to the six million who perished in the Holocaust, and many of them were saved? We urge you to examine the Schacht & Rublee Plans (which were ironed out a year months before WWII, soon after Kristallnacht) to know how viable of scenarios those were. Shockingly, Jews of all shades (Zionist, non-Zionist, religious, boycott, and anti-Zionist Jews) dropped the ball. Hitler gave big concessions; but there were no takers. This explains why the media never talks about these plans although they were covered in the press at the time. Now, please ask yourself: how saving the six million could have impacted the Zionist project? There is a better idea; let us ask this question to David Ben-Gurion (the "Jewish state" founding father"). Let us see how Herr Ben-Gurion envisioned Evian's success and how such a success could have impacted Zionism and the Yishuv, but first, hang on to your seat:

David Ben-Gurion envisioned that Nazis' Nuremberg Race Laws would become the LEVER that would end up creating the "Jewish state," but how? Click the image for the details
The Jews could have only one destination - Eretz Yisrael. So in June 1938, shortly before Allied representatives met in Evian, France, to seek ways of rescuing Jews, Ben-Gurion frankly voiced his concern to colleagues in the Jewish Agency Executive. He did "not know if the [Evian] conference will open the gates of other countries [Oh, God forbid]. . . . But I am afraid [ it ] might cause tremendous harm to Eretz Yisrael and Zionism . . . . Our main task is to reduce the harm, the danger and the disaster [Ben-Gurion was referring to harming the yishuv; he was not referring to harming diaspora Jews; the was the LEVER] . . . and the more we emphasize the terrible distress of the Jewish masses in Germany, Poland and Rumania, the more damage we shall cause ." So be silent, Ben-Gurion cautioned his comrades. . . . And in the silence . . . Evian [Conference] failed. (see NY Times -- June 12th, 1987)

[Chaim Weizmann was known to have said something similar around the same time frame just before the Evian Conference was convened.]
David Ben-Gurion's Response to the British Kindertransport a month after Kristallnacht: NY Times, July 12th, 1987, citing Ben-Gurion's official biographers showing how much he "cared" about Europe's Jews who saved themselves by immigrating to countries other than Palestine!

In layman's terms, David Ben-Gurion was distraught that emphasizing Jewish persecution would alarm the media and the public to a point that might force countries (like France and others) to open their gates (God forbid); thus harming the so-called yishuv in the process. YES, you read it correctly. Rescuing Jews in France and other countries was harmful to the yishuv; therefore, be quiet about it, or else Zionism would be doomed (God forbid). YES, from Zionists' point of view, saving Jews in such a fashion was a disaster for Zionism. Ben-Gurion & Co. were correct; such a rescue scheme had to be averted at any cost for Zionism's sake (just imagine how many nowadays conflate Judaism with Zionism)! This explains why Zionists of all shades effectively left Europe's Jews with two options: either they do Aliyah to Palestine or go to Auschwitz and lobbied like hell against any third alternative. That is why the word "rescue" had negative connotations for Zionists during the pre-Nakba period. Zionist leaders' poor stomachs "used to turn and squeal" when such a discussion used to arise. Trust us on this one; we are not sarcastic for the sake of making fun of Zionists; we are describing how Ben-Gurion's biographer (Shabtai Teveth) framed it.

In a nutshell, this pressure cooker of a scenario was precisely the LEVER that Ben-Gurion often spoke of in the process of turning Palestine into a Jewish majority country, thus clearing the path for creating the "Jewish state". Therefore, manufacturing, exploiting, and fomenting the refugee crises were and still are at the heart of Herzl's plan. Ladies and gentlemen, that was precisely how Jewish pain and suffering was monetized politically and financially. That was the price for attaining political power at a global scale!

The Zionist Version Of Lebensraum: A Map Of The Great Israel

Here is the unvarnished truth: Love it or hate it, David Ben-Gurion was 100% correct. Saving Europe's Jewry would have been a disaster for Zionism but good for humanity and Jews. Let us repeat that one more time to let it sink in: saving Europe's Jews was the poison pill for Zionism! Think about it: why a "Jewish state" was needed when Jews could be saved somewhere else other than Palestine? Thus, for Zionism's sake, that had to be averted at any cost, and that explained why Zionists hoped and plotted to turn Evian into a failure. That explains why Zionists attempted to hoard and starve rescue funds! That is why very little was spent on rescue schemes during the calamity! This "saga" explains why their evil policy (of focusing ONLY on Palestine) persisted not only during WWII but even after the war ended in the DP camps. That is why Zionism has been bad for humanity, and most importantly, it was a Nakba for Jews and Palestinians alike; that is why, in practice, antisemitism was always good for Zionism!

Daddy, what did you do during the Holocaust while you were in Palestine? Fake Valor: Daddy, what did you do during the Holocaust while you were in Palestine?

Just imagine, God forbid, what if the rest of humanity behaved as bad as America's and Palestine's Jewry did during WWII, the Holocaust would have been much worse than it was! Again, imagine, God forbid, what if Zionists' lobbying efforts succeeded in keeping Europe's Jews away from Latin and South America, the Holocaust would have been much worse! The same logic applies when Zionists lobbied against FDR's War Refugee Board, which was credited with saving hundreds of thousands of Jews. Just in case you think what was written was a bunch of rants by angry anti-Zionist Palestinians, please think twiceThis has been an open secret in Jewish communities around the world and even in Israel, but speaking about it would get you canceled, especially if you are a Jew. See for yourself how Jews, in general, chewed and canceled Hannah Arendt after she exposed the Kapo phenomenon in the early 1960s.

JFK said it BEST in 1939: Palestine Was Hardly Britain's to Give Away

Dear Jews,

Please give yourselves a big hand for this "wonderful gift" to humanity. Hannah Arendt was 100% correct: Jews would have been much better off being leaderless, that is a fact that is still true to this date. Sadly, many of you conflate power with being correct; thus might is right. That is an illusion, and eventually, it will come crashing down under its own weight. We wonder: how many genocides had to happen, on your watch, to end this ideology for good? More than two genocides; Mazeltov!
